Justice Kennedy needs to resign, he’s getting on in age and he needs to be sure Trump gets to name his replacement. There have been stories for a long time that Thomas also wants to resign. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Trump get to replace three or four justices in his first term.
The next time the Dems get control of the White House and the Congress, look for them to try the old FDR trick of seeking to expand the number of Justices on the Supreme Court to 13 or 15 and pack the court with liberals.

Dems have no cards to play. Trump could just go to his list - now 19 names - and keep picking conservatives, which is exactly what he should do.
Hoping Thomas retires as well soon. That way we can keep that spot conservative another 30-40 years.

Put Cruz up for Ginsburg’s seat. Let him get Borked, then put up a “real”nominee from Trump’s list. the Dems can’t shoot down 2 nominees.

The point about a woman on SCOTUS isn’t to bring any Dems across the aisle. It’s to make sure Murkowski and Collins support the end to filibusters.

No, but word is that her cancer is back. Sotomayor’s also not well controlled. Stephen Breyer is showing signs of wear and tear.
Let’s all pray that the Senate confirms Neil Gorsuch soon and that the Demoncraps lose all of their Senators from blue states in the 2018 midterm elections giving Trump a filibuster-proof Senate. Then the Notorious RGB and the other two loofas can feel free to go on their retreats.
