FWIW, I saw this on DealNews.com - Ematic HD TV Motorized Outdoor Antenna with 150-Mile Range . Walmart is carrying it for $25. Reviews are so-so, but for $25 and easy returns, why not?

I'm thinking about trying it. I live on the side of a hill below the ridgeline and am blocked from receiving some signals. Unless you're in a deep valley you should be able to get some OTA TV channels.

I already use a $45 indoor antenna and get about 20 stations within about 15 miles.

I’m guessing my house is a giant Faraday cage, and I’m not inclined to run cables from the attic thru walls just to see if I can get ad-driven drivel.

The OTA 4K is more technically fascinating than anything. I’m interested in how it works, not in using it.
