No, it’s not staged. But while the boats coming here leave from Indonesia, the people on them didn’t start out from Indonesia. They travelled to Indonesia as a transit point.
And a lot of them are Muslims. But a significant minority are Christians - and the ones who are part of this current deal, aren’t the Muslims.
We’ve got thousands of people that international law says we are supposed to resettle. Getting rid of a thousand or so Christians would be a start. Then we can try and get other countries to take the others.
You can not convince me. We need a greater pause in all types of immigration. Australia has these criminals they can deal.
Time must be given for people to assimilate. There is a historical precedent.
What about Japan? They could use some multi-culturalism!
Look, I don’t think America should take these people. I’ve said that over and over.
But I just think that decision should be based on facts not rhetoric and misinformation.

You do not know who is in those groups. Under Islamic law, a terror suspect can lie and “say” he or she is a Christian. What documents could they provide that they are? A baptismal record?
None of them can be properly vetted.
I do know who is in those groups, actually. I’ve been actively involved in helping Christian refugees for the last few years.
I know the names of a large number of these people. I have seen detailed dossiers on them. Not all of them, but quite a few.
I thought you must have a very personal reason. What part of no, don’t you understand? Not in a world wrought with terrorists all radicalized through their Islamic faith.

I don’t have a personal reason for wanting these people sent to the US. In fact, as I have said dozens of times, I don’t think the US should take them.
I just happen to think the decision should be based on facts and on the truth. So that is what I’m trying to provide. Accurate information.
as one who has negotiated some contracts on a smaller scale as a union officer for 32 years it is a skill and art all it's on.
Grown mature men on both sides trying to sincerely reach an honest agreement for a contract that allows both parties to increase the financial security and future growth of all, can do so.
All that is needed is a good faith effort, some common mutual respect and trust.
