We both have watched how McConnell operate for a while. And I do not trust him for a second. There is still the Supreme Court nominee to be confirmed. And I expect McConnell to through every monkey wrench in the machinery that he can.

I don’t honestly know what to expect. I do expect a disconcerting process. We’ll see.
We know the Dems will seek to tie him in knots.
With this guy, you expect them to be successful.

Palmer is good. But I’m not super keen on yet another special election for the House. I just hate seeing our numbers go down, even temporarily. Palmer’s in a safe seat. But I can’t rule out a nasty upset in Price’s seat (if they ever confirm him GD it) or in Montana.

I’d like to see Roy Moore in Sessions’ seat.

The GOP will easily hold all of those if they go to a special election. Greg Gianforte is the likeliest to get Zinke’s seat in MT. The Dems don’t even have a serious potential candidate, same with GA-6.

Another day, another nominee voted out of committee. EPA head will soon be confirmed by the whole Senate.

I was one of the first on this site to go all in on Donald Trump and defended him against ALL comers, Republican, Democrat and Independent.

MM is respected and supported by his colleagues. He is not elected by you. There are institutional impediments in the legislatures which have to be addressed. A leader cannot just say “I have decided this and it will be.”
Schumer is not helping his side with his antics. Yet you are claiming HE is in charge. Laughable.

You know what, I appreciate that. Good for you.
Look, Mitch and Paul have both been failures at their jobs.
Between them, they made Obama use his veto ONCE!

The reality is the Leaders are moving Trump’s nominations through expeditiously with more to follow. Nothing to criticize here.

I am too slow to know what you are referring to. However, the Party considers MM and PR to be its best bet to get things done. I don’t have any reason to argue with them but I am a mere arrogantsob.

The party...
Tells me all I need to know about you.
MM & PR are RINOS. They are part of the GOPe we have fought so long to overcome.
Mitch and Paul spoke out against Trump stridently right up until the election. Where were you?
Mitch, is that you?

While I am not a registered Republican I find it amusing to find people in a small minority excommunicating the majority as RINOs. Reminiscent of the “Bolsheviks...Mensheviks” mislabeling.
Fortunately, things are going very well whether you trust the leadership or not.
MM said little about Trump and it is not against the law for people to have differing opinions about candidates in any case. Trump is willing to forgive and forget.

I'm not sure what your experience is, but we have had a very hard time overcoming the GOP operatives in the east. We refer to them a number of ways. One is the GOPe. The RNC, many leading Congress-critters, and guys like Carl Rove have fought us tooth and nail. They defeated us in 2000, 2008, and 2012. Even president Bush failed us.
This election cycle they wanted Jeb Bush to be the standard bearer. We faced them down, and they fought us tooth and nail to trash Trump every step of the way. We had the RNC, the Congress-critters, the House leadership, the Senate ladership, the MSM, all working against us. Trump confounded them all.
While you may think it's funny that we reference them in this manner, it really isn't. These people are Republicans In Name Only. For that reason, we call them RINOs. They don't follow the U.S. Constitution. They don't differentiate themselves from the Democrats in a number of ways. They don't follow traditional Republicans standards or values. In more recent times they have become globalists rather than supporters of our national interests. Open borders, moving jobs offshore, massive trade deals that entangle our nation in far more ways than just trade.
They are our enemies as much as the Democrats are. The Democrats move the nation farther Left. So do the Republicans. Even at best, the Republicans only hold us in place, so the Democrats can pick up right where they left off the next time they get the White House. Bush was just thrilled to sign off on Medicare Part D, another massive government program. He wanted to gift illegal immigrants amnesty. He was lost in space most of the time, and allowed the 2008 economic melt-down on his watch. That so badly damaged confidence in our nation, that many were voicing concerns if Capitalism was the right choice for our nation. This is a rather dangerous thing. It isn't funny that we recognize Bush and his ilk for what they were/are.
Fortunately, things are going very well whether you trust the leadership or not.
Fortunately, everything that has been happening in our favor, was outside the choice of the McConnel and Ryan right now. Both of these guys would back-stab us in a second if they thought they could get away with it.
MM said little about Trump and it is not against the law for people to have differing opinions about candidates in any case. Trump is willing to forgive and forget.
Mitch McConnel made many comments about Trump, trashing him evey chance he got for months on end.
You're not a Republican. Perahps that's why you're lost in space on this issue. You really don't know what you are talking about.
Trying to slander a person by referencing them as Bolsheviks, Mensheviks, or anything else for holding the feet of our leaders to the fire, for not honoring our Constitution and fighting to get things back on track to the best of their ability is silly.
It also reveals you to be out of touch on this subject.

I know the difference between warranted criticism and unwarranted and any objective evaluation says that yours are unwarranted. At this point the leadership has been as good as can be expected.
Those who are not “RINOs” can’t elect anyone on a statewide basis. Initially these people were not for Trump but Cruz. I had many discussions with them about the need to move outside the Conservative cliques for victory. They were more concerned about GOPe than the actual enemy. This is ludicrous.
