Question: I have heard proponents of sanctuary cities claim that the Federal government has no constitutional authority to force cooperation from state or local governments. Why not? The Federal government is constantly sticking its nose into local matters (such as gay marriage), so why are sanctuary cities an exception from Federal jurisdiction?
Add New Mexico to the list. We have always dealt with Democrat rule here for the most part but they were Democrats we could reason with; they had decency and some common sense. We are being overrun by crazy liberal “progressives” first in Santa Fe and Albuquerque but now has spread to small towns and rural areas. This new bunch is so nasty, hateful they just want to do us in.
How about remove/arrest them as they are on record as giving comfort to these criminals.
and of course Austin.”
Not just Austin but Houston, Dallas, El Paso, Brownsville, San Antonio and most every other major city in Texas. Perhaps the Governor’s action will cause the mayors, sheriffs and chiefs of police, particularly in Democrat controlled cities, to pay attention. Good first move on his part.
Women vote now, and they turn their little bird brains to the “HEY, she seems to have a vagina”...CHECK MARK. Sorry Ladies, but you know that at least 60% of women are either ignorant(which can be cured) or stupid(which is terminal). It is up to you to place the correct numbers of the category. The local large city to me, Seattle, runs homosexuals in and out of the Police and Fire Dept heirarchy, like “thumbs up” on a “Kardashian” nude thread on FB. The current Chief replaced the Chief Kerlikowsky that is head of DHS. Like Dad always told me, its not who you know but who you ____.
That's not nearly painful enough of a cut to change their behavior. Sheriff Hernandez will just sniff and keep right on letting the illegals go.
In days of old, I'll bet a Texas Governor would have sent the Texas Rangers to arrest a lawless Sheriff like Hernandez.
