And, no,”history” is not on their side, not if you understand that the whole of history is “His” story. His-story.

If there is something that decades of a school of hard knocks has taught me, it is that the rambunctious right is no more considered a paragon of virtue by the actual, genuine Lord than is the lollygagging left.
Both are caricatures of what Jesus really came to be. It does His name wrong for either distortion to claim Him as their chattel.
