Christian Charities Profit from $1 Billion Fed Program to Resettle Refugees, 40 Percent Muslim

Though they are officially “non-profit” organizations, Catholic Charities, Lutheran Social Services, and several other Christian organizations are profiting from lucrative contracts with the federal government to resettle refugees in the United States. Of the 100,000 refugees resettled in the United States in 2014 under the Refugee Resettlement program, an estimated 40 percent were Muslims.

In FY 2015, the State Department, through the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration and the Office of Refugee Resettlement, spent more than $1 billion on these programs, which settled international refugees “vetted” by the United Nations High Commission on International Refugees in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. The federal government spent hundreds of millions of dollars more than that on refugees, however. The Department of Health and Human Services also provided a number of “entitlements” to these refugees.

There is something very sinister (diabolical) working within the Catholic church today.

Always follow the money.

When someone says "It's not about the money", it is always about the money.

Resettling refuges has actually become a PROFIT CENTER to Catholic Charities and Lutheran Social Services.

The situation got MUCH WORSE when George W. Bush launched his “faith-based initiative”.

Government money corrupts EVERYTHING it touches....including churches.

Mr. Trump needs to end this funding.

These are the folks who created Mogadishu on the Mississippi because Minnesota wasn’t “multi cultural”. May they all rot in hell.

If Christian churches want to take in refugees, they should not be paid by the government to do so. They should pay for every refugee they bring in AND SPONSOR THEM. It’s not right to pocket the taxpayers’ money for bringing refugees in, and then the taxpayer gets hit again when the dependent refugees get more taxpayer money to support him and his family for years after arriving.

Enough is enough. Middle Class taxpayers are getting screwed by these churches and the government, and parents are seeing immigrants going to college on the taxpayer’s dime while they can’t afford to send their own children to college.

The churches are very financially comfortable lying abed with the welfare state.

I’m glad this is finally getting some press. They (Catholic and Lutheran services) were trying to bring thousands of Syrians into Florida. No thank you.

Exposing them to the light of day DOES help.

Catholic Charities used to bring lots of Muslim refugees to a particular apartment complex around here.

It drew the attention and complaints of neighbors. People started complaining to the Bishop. Then some local neighborhood newspapers began reporting on it.

They stopped bringing the Muslims. Now mostly Hindu refugees from Nepan and Bhutan in there.

More than 4 years ago now, I somehow ended up on the refugee resettlement site itself. I decided to go look at the reports that by law are supposed to be filed to Congress on how many refugees-and from where-arrive in the US, and where they go. The report had not been filed for 2-3 years at the time I scoured the site for it.

It’s obvious now why it wasn’t.

Throughout history, it’s always been about the money with the Church of Rome. For instance, Indulgences paid for St. Peter’s Basilica.

I see it in my own city. Catholic Charities is just a progressive, Fed.gov funded jobs program for sanctimonious religious types and a new voter and customer delivery line for the Democrat Party and welfare state.

Our country runs on a printed, totally fiat currency from the Federal Reserve, that encourages and supports massive personal and government debt. All this money is spent to change society in 1000 different ways.

It is the foundation and pillars of the progressive welfare state.
