It’s not a Travel Ban, as several LSM keeps saying. It’s a pause in issuing additional credentials in order to figure out how to vet these people.
The true refugees likely have nothing to prove who they are or anything that would usually be looked at. Easy for terrorist to show up with a hard luck story and get into the country - like they have in Europe, apparently.
I say keep them in the Middle East - find them a “safe” place and let the other Arab states deal with their own people. Why uproot them and send them to a country where they may not even know the language?
