Tide monitoring stations have more than a century of historical data. The mean sea level at tide stations is used as the reference in surveying. Modern geodesy depends on satellite altimeters to determine sea level. The uncertainty in sea level and sea level rise is only on the order of millimeters. Sea levels have been rising for the past 10,000 years, the rate has not accelerated in the past 100. Not all that long ago, the Thames was a tributary of the Rhine, their confluence was in what is now the North Sea. You could walk from Scotland to Tierra del Fuego via the Bering Isthmus.
WTH?! You don’t increase the total mass of the earth by melting ice and evaporating water. You do increase the mass by space dust and meteorites landing on Earth, i.e. from beyond the atmosphere. Who wrote this? (Rhetorical Question) Even better, who edited this, if at all?
