One foot per decade? Max? I think we can handle that.

On the other end, 'bout an inch and a half a decade? Who would even notice?

Moonlighting as Hillary's pollster apparently...

“Miami (AFP) - In the last days of Barack Obama’s administration, US government scientists warned even more sea level rise is expected by century’s end than previously estimated, due to rapid ice sheet melting at the poles.”

I think that called for getting rid of the UN and with all that money putting a consortium together to build desalination facilities around the world. This will ensure that we keep sea levels steady while at the same time by creating new “green” environments, plant life can suck up all the excess CO2 caused by man.

Think of the beauty of our natural world taking care of itself while also creating new economies across the world. All because of a technology that has been around for 50 years.

Get some simple stats. Sea levels in 1900 and 2000. Compare and then get the current sea level. That alone should give us an idea if anything is changing beyond the negligible.

Raise the bar, lower the bar, jam it up their backside... it makes no difference to the Earth in any way.

President Trump's fault. Global warming, the poles will melt, thermal expansion, and by 9:00 pm tonight (2100 in military time), New York City will look like the above. Trust me. This is no more fake news than the reports President Trump removed the bust of MLK from the Oval Office or most other propaganda released by the media arm of the Democrat party.

Note: Women and minorities will be hardest hit.

Second note: Wearing a pink hat will protect the women of New York from this disaster, but even that cannot save minorities.

You have a great idea. It needs to be put forth by the Trump administration. Let’s permanently solve the West water problems and defeat the Left’s climate change idiocy at the same time, all while creating thousands of new jobs!

Yep, he (ManBearPig) had to re-edit his “Inconvenient Truth” movie to reflect that it didn’t really happen.

When Algore sells his beachfront house, I’ll start worrying. Otherwise, the people who push the GLORBULL WORMING are liars and scam artists.

The idiots ignore that during evaporation the earth does not lose water, it becomes water in the form of water vapor instead of a liquid. Then in the atmosphere it joins other molecules of water vapor, forms clouds of water vapor, cools, and over time goes back to earth as precipitation, as either rain or snow. The earth does not lose water. It moves it around. Therefore, there is no change in earth’s “gravity” due to the activity of glaciers.

If melting polar ice speeds up the earth’s rotation, doesn’t that make the word day go by faster?

In 1942 MGM produced a TRAVELTALKS short on Glacier and Waterton National Parks. Right off they mentioned the glaciers have been receding since the last ice age (14000 years ago) and “if there is no climatic change they will be gone in a thousand years.”

SO PANIC NOW! Here is a web page that lists the hottest temperatures for about the last 120 years. You can add the zip code of your local town and see how hotter the weather has become in the last 120 years. Problem is you don’t see a rise in temperature. It was hotter back in the 1930s! I use TULSA Oklahoma as it is in the center of the USA.

Whenever I hear talk about sea level my first thought is: “How do you get a static measurement something that is constantly in motion?”

Without taking into account tide movements how can they possibly declare the sea is “rising”?

So during the last ice age everything was heavier, lighter, or weighed the same?

That does seem to exhaust the possibilities. Weighed less on the equator, more at the poles, in between YMMV.

We can’t totally discount unicorns entirely either... but it’s not a smart policy position to draw unicorns into the debate.
