First damn time I’ve ever watched an elected official do exactly what he said he would. I’m thankful, too, because I said many times in the last few months that, if he went back on his word, it would tear this Nation apart.

I’ll be damned. I thought he was lying during the campaign and playing us for fools. But I’ll admit it...I was wrong. He’s killing it! Maybe the media attacking him like they did hardened his heart to them, but whatever the reason—he’s following through on what he said like no other politician has.
This is amazing. A President who respects the law.
Unlike both GW Bush and Obama, who believed that their #1 obligation was to represent the interests of foreign nationals who are illegally in the United States.
Thank God, maybe Occupied California can finally catch a break, and our years of Press One for English and gangs and graffiti and overcrowding and general 3rd world squalor could possibly be behind us.

Key point, so far it sounds like only those convicted of crimes here will get deported.
I don’t mind focusing on the criminals first, but the fact that they have not stopped USCIS from taking new applications for DACA is troubling.
I think he was 75% awake before the middle of the campaign but the media woke him to full reality and now that he is in the WH, he can see the mess from behind the curtain.
Mayors and governors who create sanctuary cities are openly defying American law.
Cutting off federal funds will get their attention but it also punishes Americans who want no part of these lawbreaking politicians. So although it brings collateral damage I would definitely do it.
But what really needs to be done is to prosecute these treasonous politicians and let them do some prison time. See if the others can decide whether they are Global Citizens with no allegiance to the country they live in.
California was transformed from Reagan Country to Obama Orc Country mostly because of 3rd world immigration, legal as well as illegal.
You can’t change past legal immigration, but you sure as hell can do something the illegal kind, the ongoing disaster of Anchor Babies being a huge part of it.
This is probably the last chance to save California, and to halt America’s eventual transformation into what California has now become.
Deportation is an absolute must. Just do what Eisenhower did when he was confronted with the same problem.
A real border wall is a good thing, it will prevent another Amnesty Republican like Dubya from subverting the border and leaving an illegal alien army for the next Obama.
But 40% of the illegal alien army comes by air, not across the southern border. And a wall doesn’t stop them nor remove them.
Agreed. That’s why we must not be satisfied with only deporting those convicted of crimes committed her.
We should not wait until they have harmed or killed someone before deporting them.
DACA must be stopped soon, the longer it is allowed to continue the harder it will be to deport anyone. Those allowed to stay under DACA will provide excuses to not deport their parents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc.
They can be charged with harboring illegal aliens, a federal felony. Lock up a few and the rest will get their minds right.
And even more important....he needs to drastically REDUCE legal immigration. 80% of LEGAL immigrants vote democratic.
This is where need to focus now, i.e. congress. It's time for those backstabbing GOPes to get off their butts and get some work done.
