President Trump has nominated his new CIA chief, Mike Pompeo. An evangelical Christian, Pompeo is a well-respected figure in the national security community. He is also an army veteran, and a staunch pro-life advocate.
Two years ago, Pompeo gave a Church speech where he said Muslims who think Islam is “the only way” needed to be dealt with. “This threat to America is from people who deeply believe that Islam is the way and the light and the only answer,” Pompeo told the church-goers, according to Press TV.
“These folks believe that it is religiously driven for them to wipe Christians from the face of the earth,” he added. “They abhor Christians,” he said of a small minority among Muslims.
Pompeo passionately urged believers to “pray and stand and fight and make sure that we know that Jesus Christ is our savior and is truly the only solution for our world.”

I have many serious differences with Bill Maher BUT he is one of the few talking heads on the tube/internet who actually GETS ISLAM for most of the right reasons.

I’m glad you didn’t put ‘devout’ ahead of Christian for General Mattis, because here in his hometown he wouldn’t be characterized that way. Not saying he is a weak Christian, but external appearances would not suggest a lot of religious fervor. He did recently attend an Episcopal service in D.C.

Well, he is correct. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light”.
As our country turns away from Christianity, a darkness is descending over out country. It is very real and I believe that folks outside of the big cities are able to have better perspectives about what is ailing our country.
When our country turns back to God and to the Judeo-Christian ethic, we will be great again.

The “of a small minority among Muslims” is the PC opinion of the writer in effort to continue to dupe idiots into believing that not all of Islam is bad. Pompeo did not state that.

Everyone, sooner or later, has to make decisions, including those in positions of authority, such as the President and the Director of the CIA. My point is that, hopefully, those decisions are based on Christian principles. What do you propose should guide the decision-making process, the worldview of Hitler or Lenin? Or your own personal idea of what is the best decision? Perhaps you prefer to follow the principles set forth in the Koran? No? Well stop talking in silly generalities and give me some specifics about your preferred process for making decisions. Because thus far you’ve given me nothing but gibberish!
