My vote for McCain in 2008 was a serious mistake.

I live in Vermont, and since I knew that McCain could never win there anyway, Obama was a shoe-in. So I voted for a write-in, Sarah Palin.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) blasted President Trump on Monday, warning that his decision to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) will spark a wave of negative consequences.

The biggest consequence would be the drying up of payoffs to McCain, at least from his perspective.

For the last eight years, I woke up every morning asking God why Obama was president, and thanking him that McCain and Romney weren't.

Given McCain’s seeming eagerness to beat the war drums maybe putting up with Obama was the lesser evil. Of course the staying home in 12 by a lot of conservatives is less defensible.

Must be all that dry air in Arizona.

I seem to recall that Barry Goldwater appeared to go off the deep end when he retired to Arizona with his ‘younger’ wife.

JM better beware of people walking near him with umbrellas.

They ALL better watch out if PRESIDENT Trump calls a meeting with Bill Clinton and asks how that Arkancide works...

Earth to Juan McLame: The United States has relationships with other countries and makes trade deals with countries on a one-on-one basis. It is a Yuuuge mistake to enter into ANY multilateral trade agreement for one simple reason: Such agreements are completely unenforceable. For example, suppose China is one of the couple of dozen countries which violate the multilateral trade agreement. How does the United States deal with that violation. The answers appear to be (1) to punish ALL the members of the agreement for China’s violations, (2) to do nothing, or (3) to abrogate the agreement.

The globalists like you, Juan, seem to want to make complicated agreements which CANNOT be unraveled.

Rational people—(and yes, Juan, you are not a rational person. You aren’t know nor have you ever been one)—prefer simple bilateral trade agreements so that if a trading partner violates the agreement, the retaliation is against that partner.

Note to Juan McLame: I have come to realize that whatever you are for a rational person would be against; whatever you are against a rational person should be for.

If McLame is against it, then obviously Trump did the right thing.

See below for who McCain was buddying up with for the Trump inaugural.

That's McCain acting dignified by putting the horns to someone's head for a photo.

That's the Commie Sanders laughing like a horse and wearing a beat up old parka and the "Indian" Warren with the purple scarf.

The photos are in a collage as a response to Sanders saying Trump is a fake anti-establishment because of the rich and powerful occupying the seats around him on the dais. Of course Sanders failed to mention that he and anti-Trump rat buddies were in the 5th row of that crowd of the rich and powerful.

I support TPP, but come on, Juan, Trump ran on this issue and has a campaign promise to keep. I know you find it difficult to believe, but, unlike most politicians, I believe Trump will keep his campaign promises and I like a whole lot more of them than I don’t.

What does a guy who crashed three jet aircraft, spent 5 years in a p.o.W. prison, accused of treason by some of his fellow prisoners, and has spent the rest of his life being kept by a beer heiress know anything about the economy?

“Apparently TRUMP is going to negotiate with countries one on one and get flexible deals. Sounds good to me.”

It would seem a wise approach to me; if necessary, you can play “A” off of “Z” without the approval of all the “B thru Y”.

Hey, Juan -

If we need something from you it will be because we want it to crash and burn.....you know like any presidential campaign or Navy jet you get ahold of.......aside from that, STFU.

Sure our standing will go down a little when we stop giving them all our money. Everyone is the rich guys friend while he’s giving them money. As soon as the money is gone though they move elsewhere.

Think about how many professional athletes and performers who were ‘rich’ and had ‘friends and family’ latch on to them and drain them of all their money leaving the athlete or performer high and dry and usually unable to restart their careers and earn more money.

It’s a common theme among the newly rich and those who feel deep down that they don’t ‘deserve’ the money that has come to them via ‘luck’.

McCain endorses everything he rejects in my book. You know you’re on track when that stinker of a RINO doesn’t like what you’ve done.

“Hey McCain, nobody cares what you think. You should retire and go fishing.”

Apparently a majority of GOP voters here in AZ cares what he thinks. Only a newbie in AZ myself (11+ years) and it seems we can’t primary his liberal butt out of here. I thought we had a good candidate in Kelli Ward.
