Lindsey Graham was not in complete agreement with President Donald Trump's inauguration speech on Friday, saying that he "doesn't know what America first means."
“To the president, if America first is a throwback to the 20’sand 30’s isolationism when it was first used as a phrase, the world would deteriorate even quicker, if it is a new way of Ronald Reagan’s peace through strength I would like to work with him. I don’t know what America first means,” Graham said on CBS’s “Face the Nation."

And wasn’t it great that the past presidents were there to hear President Trump make clear how their “America last” policies got us into this mess.
I can’t think of a simpler and more obvious slogan than America first. Does he not understand what each of those simple words mean? If not he should not be a US senator.

So let’s tell him and all the other globalists. A few suggestions: regulated borders; no subservience to international organizations like the UN or the World Court; strong military; don’t give away the benefits of our space program to foregners; and English as a common language. Any others?

The average person has no knowledge of the 1930’s America First movement, so the President’s use of ithe term isn’t a dog whistle for isolationists and anti-semites. He has spelled out what he means by the term, and that’s how people understand it.
By the way— are there any Republican senators besides Graham, McCain, and Rubio? They seem to be the only ones I ever hear about.

Certainly the voters in SC know what America First means. Lindsay has just handed his opponent in the 2020 primaries a winning campaign commercial video clip. Hopefully SC Republicans can find one strong candidate to take out Lindsay in 2020 if he hasn’t taken himself out by formally changing parties.
