I have completed exhaustive analysis of the disputed Trump crowd shot and the CNN gigapixel crowd shot. As much as it pains me to say, the two images match quite well and the disputed crowd shot is legitimate and represents the actual crowd size. There was no deception on the part of the media.
I have four decades of experience as an advertising photographer. I am qualified to make this kind of analysis.
As a Trump supporter and voter I think it does us a great disservice to not deal honestly with issues such as these. In this case even the President and his staff have it wrong, and it hurts all of us.

Two points. What Spicer said was right. They posted a tweet early in the morning when nobody was there yet saying the attendance was down. THIS IS VERY DECEIVING.
Two Spicer was counting the TV numbers and he his right this was widely watched all over the world making it the most watched in HISTORY.
That being said the numbers might have been down a little. Isn’t DC like 90% minorities?

However when I really studied the gigapixel it is perfectly clear it is a very good fit with the rear view from the Washington monument.
And when I looked at it it was clear that it was not.
We need to be better than this and Trumps team made a big mistake here.

that is a white building in front of the Washington monument, not ground. The aerial photo shows empty space almost all the way up to the front. please, just stop. People were filtering in for hours trying to get past check points where this was always wide open access in the past.

Show us the photos you are comparing.
Looks to me like the crowd size in the pictures taken at the time of the inauguration (as opposed to those taken 3 hours before) show the crowds pretty much identical to those that Obama drew.
I suspect you are comparing the pictures that were sent out that showed the Obama crowd at 12PM and the Trump crowd at 9 AM.
So post the two pictures you are comparing.
Or is it that you don’t know how to post them?

I would have been there but...I work, live over 2,000 miles away, and I haven’t built up my savings by traveling to places to hear a speech live that I can hear better on TV (or Youtube, since I was working that day).
So...was Obama more likely to attract unemployed people from the Maryland-NY coastal area? Yeah.
But is the media incredibly corrupt? Yeah, that too!
