And the Unions supports kids. Regardless of what a Teacher does they can not be fired for protecting the Liberal spiel. They have been let go over something Conservative or against Obama.I have two relatives that are teachers buty the Union does not help them.

Given that this is a sample of their recent work. I think that any plan is better than what has been in place in the past.

I saw a Fox News interview of this woman who's the president of the national teachers union. You could see the desperation in the tenor of her voice and on her face, trying to explain how Trump being elected will be terrible for education. Huh?

What she was really concerned about was losing her power as the union chief.

Many of you on FR are old enough to remember when we were in school in the 50s and 60s and US students ranked number 1 in the world in education skills.

Two things happened after I got out of school in the 60s that have caused our education system to tank in world rankings.

First, Carter created the Education Department. Grow the federal government and centralize control. Two, the public sector teacher's unions, that favors teachers and administrators over the students in the classroom, took over the public school system. Both have been disasters in educating students. The system is not working. At least not for the students, who now rank 25th to 35th in the world in their skills.

I've been waiting for the media types to ask how Trump's education plan could be worse than the NEA's agenda by taking the kids knowledge from first place in the world to near the bottom of the barrel in just a few decades.

Waiting..... Waiting.... Cue sound of crickets chirping.....

Unions fight for their OWN bank accounts and benefits. If the kids happen to benefit as a result (which rarely, if ever, happens), then it’s just a happy accident.

Americans expect Donald Trump to govern for all Americans — not just the wealthy billionaires or those who agree with him

Well Americans expected Barack Obama to govern for ALL Americans not just the far leftist and billionaires who agreed with him. And we sure got screwed there!

Or what you consider hateful rhetoric you use to define Trump.

You are absolutely correct. The NEA has always been a conspiracy to take over the education of the nation and use it to program children as “progressives”. It has been incredibly successful for that purpose.

The quality of education has dropped as the NEA has come to power.

“Donald Trump to govern for all Americans — not just the wealthy billionaires or those who agree with him.”

The wealthy billionaires (bill gates, Soros, Warren Buffet etc) are the ones that want to keep students dumbed down in NEA leftist indoctrination centers.

No. Educators associations are primarily to protect and for the benefit of the teachers.
