Reports say he was shouting “Aloha Snack bar” and playing Mid-East music, but he was pretty white in the photos I’ve seen. Could be Lebanese or Balkan.
The State hasn’t said yet.

He’s Greek - and in as far as any religion is known he seems to have been raised Greek Orthodox. There seems to be one witness who reports hearing him shouting ‘Allahu Ackbar’ as he drove, but only one witness I’ve seen or heard of - and there does seem to have been a reference on his Facebook page to Islam, but most of what is there reads like the rantings of a schizophrenic.
