“The only thing Julian has going is he doesn’t release Fake News. Hard to believe he’s not a Liberal Cause de Celebre.”

He was. Until this election cycle.

Keep in mind he’s never put anything out that impacted negatively on Obama.

Do you thank god for Bradley Manning, too?

I can see that Snowden would garner some thanks because he was the one who blew open the NSA spying scheme. Assange did no such thing.

I hope you don’t choke on your gratitude for Assange when he gets a hold of some Trump admin emails or stolen documents.

Agreed! Once he comes here, his business may be shutdown indefinitely. He needs to remain viable, as well as his biz!

If Trump engages in the crap that Bush and Obama and Hillary did, and keeps it secret, why yes I do indeed hope he gets exposed.
Today secrecy is the enemy. They aren’t classifying military secrets like WWII.
Trump misunderstand the American people if he thinks we put him in to run a secret government. I don’t think he believes that.

Today, secrecy is used as a wide spread blanket to keep the citizenry from exercising educated control over the US Government as they work diligently against the interests if the American people. Be a willing subject if you please. I prefer citizen.

That’s a good point. He was impacted by implication in the releases that were specifically relating to Hillary.

Ultimately, as President, he is responsible for the totally illegal e-mail system used by and set up by his Secretary of State.

Assange published Snowden releases. The secret government must be unmasked. Widespread Government secrecy like we see today is not the mark of a free people.
That is the mark of the British, of the Nazis, of the various communist governments.

Secrecy today is designed to let them do things we would not approve of, not to keep legitimate military secrets like the top speed of the latest missile or something.
It is designed to allow the CIA and State to run an operation in Benghazi to smuggle Manpads and weapons to ISIS and AL Qeida.
They know the American people would say “wait, why are we arming the gang that brought us 9/11?” and “why have we started helping the enemy in the WOT?”. We might ask who is paying for it and they don’t want to tell us the Saudis.
Obama loved it when he made his Iran deal giving them more cash than Israel has received in its entire history.
Obama and the GOP loved it when they were pushing for TPP to be passed but the document was classified and could not be released.
Yes, a low that would profoundly affect America was deliberately hidden from we the people.

So yes, thank God for Assange and WikiLeaks.

He has stated that he publishes everything he is given and that NOBODY has stood up and said they gave him information that he as not published. That was in the Hannity interview.
He correctly pointed out that such a claim would ruin him if he sat on something the way the MSM has.

Point us to someone who claims they gave him something about Obama that he refused to publish.

He will given immunity and then required to testify as to his sources. When he refuses, he’ll be in contempt and will be locked up until he relents. Which would leave this in President Trump’s hands.

And that will kill WikiLeaks. So he won’t do it. He wants to testify about the reasons for government to function openly.
If the government insists on making it an investigation into his sources, he wont even show up. That is diametrically opposed to his purpose in life.

If that’s the case that they demand to make it a source hunt, he will stay there until he finds a way out either through escape, or through the British government backing down. Then he will find his way to safety away from the US Gov.

Assange is misguided. The queer Manning has no interest in protecting Assange and Wikileaks, he is an Obama btch.

“Yeah sure, Sweden wants him. Because we all know Sweden is really tough on rapists. lol”

Assange said in his Hannity interview that Sweden didn’t want him any longer and that he was there in the Equadorian Embassy because of the United States.

Julian claims Sweden has confirmed they have absolutely no case against him.

I hope I am able to recall the facts of the case accurately. Swedish women are legally allowed to sell sexual favours. The rule is that the recipient must wear a condom.

I understand that this man slipped off the condom and performed the sex act. This is considered to be actual rape in Sweden. The spectre of a violent act against unwilling women does not fly. Still, laws are laws. Certainly nothing like a rape in most countries - this kind of act.

If he converted to Islam then he’d be free to rape as much as he wants.
