The Book of Romans, Chapter one in the later verses, actually communicates to us that by His Word, it is more likely they had matured at one time, but rejected od after He had given them a taste of the spiritual life and they still rejected faith in Christ.

For anyone who is interested in the notion that there is “nothing new under the sun,” regarding human nature, the story of Lot and what happened at his house in Genesis 19 from the Bible, might give a heads up on what could happen to us if we had no laws here in 2017. When I read this article, my mind immediately flew to the Genesis account. It also records the consequences of such behavior.
