The White House said Wednesday that President Obama granted clemency for transgender military secrets leaker Chelsea Manning in pursuit of justice, and accused congressional Republicans of hypocrisy for criticizing the commutation.
Chelsea Manning was convicted of serious crimes, said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. She also took responsibility for those crimes. She expressed remorse for those crimes.
He said Mannings 35-year prison term was much longer than the sentence that was handed down to people who committed similar crimes that got much less attention.

Justice = Just Us (as in TRAITORS)
So nice to see the most powerful person in the world enables the delusions of a mentally ill criminal who thinks he’s a girl.
Manning was the one who first screwed and embarrassed BO’s administration, the intelligence community, and the Clinton State Dept. BO wasn’t singing the same tune in 2010.
This is indicative of how seriously the rats take cyber security and national security in general.
Obama and any of his administration knows something about justice?
Assange tweeted last week that he would allow himself to be extradited to the USA is Manning was released.
I wonder what the rats have up their sleeve?
I don’t think he will last 2 years. He will off himself, he has already tried twice.
0bama is such a lying sack of $#!t.
Yes, weren’t the Manning leaks the reason Hillary wanted to have Assange droned?
Now they’re no big deal. How things change.
He wouldn’t know ‘justice’ if it kicked his queer ass - and I hope to see that one day...
Wait a minute. He was Bradley Manning, a man (with an asterisk) when he did the espionage gig. He didn’t become “Chelsea” until afterwards, when he had his Johnson surgically removed, and became a “woman” (with an asterisk).
So, “Chelsea” didn’t do squat vis-à-vis espionage. Thus, the White House was wrong with the description, as usual.
[ Chelsea Manning was convicted of serious crimes, said White House press secretary Josh Earnest. She also took responsibility for those crimes. She expressed remorse for those crimes. ]
That’s NOT A “SHE”, Josh Earnest, you liar, working for a pathological liar.
Obama IS the White House!!! What a STUPID HEADLINE!!
IT is NOT a SHE!!! It never had an operation!! She got a WIG and a new name!
Dang, can you imagine when all of a sudden he (that chromosome thing never goes away) has to pay rent, find his own food, cook it and clean up afterwards, do his own laundry, never mind the electric and water bills . . . . . .
He will have a sudden anxiety attack and shortly thereafter
a. Assume room temperature
b. Go TU Tango-Uniform (Toes Up)
c. Take the eternal celestial dirt nap.
35 Years was too long? Great, commute it to 34.
Passing the security information that was breached by Manning to Wikileaks, and Julian Assange, was hailed at the time as bringing that big international bully, the reactionary establishment then customarily referred to as “the United States of America”, to heel, and was thought to be a very clever move at the time by the liberal left. In fact, they were effusive in their praise of the “bravery” of Manning and Wikileaks to dare, in the face of great adversity, to act so boldly.
Until Wikileaks broke into the Democrat National Committee computers, most notably that of John Podesta, and released THOSE emails to the general public, then Assange became the most despised person in their universe. More than anything, it emphasized the message that Donald Trump was broadcasting far and wide, that the Clinton candidacy was being funded by and was based on some very criminal activities, something the Democrats had no interest at all in being publicized.
Richard Nixon was small change. This was the Power Ball jackpot of scandal and chicanery.
Man, you got that right. Hillary Clinton, anyone??
At least Manning served some time (clearly not enough). But what about those who granted Manning a security clearance? Those who set up the system so that someone at Manning’s level had access to such a wide range of classified material?
