I know some here will cheer this kind of insurrection and sedition, but their behavior sends a very dangerous message to the country. This is not some sort of civil rights issue/moment. It is a clear message that they are going to refuse to offer any kind of conciliation, cooperation, or reaching out to get the business of the country done. This kind of behavior creates a huge National Security risk and it is best we all wake up and be aware of those concerns.
The world is watching America being torn apart by these progressives and their actions. The country is watching and has been on the verge of civil war for at least 6 years under Obama.
This is an act of sedition to the legitimate authority and transition of power.
Maybe this is counter to most here but I am glad. The fewer dims the better. I think if I had been a pub senator or rep in 2008 and 2012 I would have skipped the inaugurals and probably all the SOTUs. Apart from good manners, maybe, there was no value in listening to 0 bloviate. Good manners was tossed out by the dims ages ago anyway.

The conspiracy theorist in me tells me that they want to get out of town to avoid something....and by that I don’t mean the inauguration.
American voters are also sick and tired of republicans who continuously act as enablers for the democrat party. Republican politicans who don't attend the inaugeration or who continue to repeatedly stab Trump in the back are an affront to the Republican Party and to republican voters.
I consider these Idiots Living off the Taxpayers, To have resigned their offices.
Meaning they will have to run for office if they want to serve again.

When these same legislators come hat in hand to ask Trump to go along with their socialist schemes, I do hope he tells them not to let the door hit them in their back sides on the way out of the WH, to get out & stay out. For if he is illegitimate now, they have no reason to come to him seeking consensus later.
