What makes Lewis the arbiter of whether Trump is legitimate or not?
And the media is losing their minds that after Lewis insulted Trump, Trump had the nerve to insult him back.

and NO ONE ELSE should do so either. Lewis is the prime example of “there is no fool like an old fool.” and he’s just as stupid as that other Georgia congressman who said that Guam might tip over if we send more Navy personnel there.

...he didnt consider George W. Bush a legitimate president, either. Probably just a coincidence that he considered the outgoing failed president as legitimate!

Past performance does not guarantee future results.
What has he actually accomplished lately?
Anything?

Trump has balls.
He calls out black politicians on their crummy results for their voters. Nobody else has had the guts to do this that I’ve seen.
To: DUMBGRUNT
The morons think that since he fought in the civil rights battle 50 years ago, he is immune from any idiotic action or saying that he utters today.

He sees everything through the prism of color. He’s always been that way.

Lewis has proven himself to be the purveyor of #FAKENEWS - on numerous occasions.

Already a leader of the left wing (SNCC) of the Civil Rights Movement, Lewis had the fortune (bad and good) to be savagely beaten on the head by Alabama State Troopers (under the command of Democrat Governor George Wallace), and today bears the visible scars. This sacrifice in a great and victorious cause, combined with his position as a man of the left, built the armor of an unassailable hero around Lewis. The American left created a claque around him, requiring any serious discussion of the man to include a disclaimer as to his heroic status and infallibility. He became a valuable weapon: a voice that could present outrageous lies. Interesting! The theme sounds remarkably similar to a certain Republican Senator...

Is the Civil Rights movement really all that great? Blacks and Whites in the Sought were on the path to improving relations when the Civil Rights movement exacerbated things. Martin Luther King, Jr., although better than his aide, Jesse Jackson, was a plagiarist, fellow traveler, and a provocateur. Not to mention his romps with prostitutes are something a man of the cloth should not do; e.g., "I'm not a Negro anymore." As for all the help my fellow co religionists gave the Civil Rights movement, that was repaid in the reality that the black community is the most antisemitic community in America (Islam is a religious not an ethnic group). Not to mention that the 1964 Civil Rights Act being an attack on the fundamental human right of private property, too.

Exactly.
John Lewis, celebrated for something he did 50 years ago, and resting on his laurels ever since.

McCain helped elect Obama; e.g., “I’m suspending my campaign,” and helped send America on the path to destruction. The President Elect has his work cut out for him.

John Lewis, Jesse Jackson and others of their ilk are a disgrace to the memory of Martin Luther King. MLK was a hero.
