Not the shooting part but this has been part of the leftist agenda for a long while, here in America. Take control of the schools and you control the future of America. All it takes is getting the right people in the hiring positions and then it is all over. Ask Soros why he is interfering with the SoS positions all over the USA. Same rationale.

The message the students are demanding is not new. Commies have used for a century

It already has - many decades ago. I remember in 1968, when the NYC government introduced the concept of “community control” of the schools. The community in Oceanville-Brownsville wanted to kick out all the white teachers in order to hire black ones. They had the full support of all the limousine liberals - Mayor Lindsey, the NYTimes, etc.
So the Teachers Union went on strike and, in spite of all the diatribes against them from the NYTimes, they won out.
I remember this very well - Nixon was running for President and came out in support of the teachers. Most Democrats supported Oceanville- Brownsville. I even joined a picket line in front of the NYTimes, to help support the teachers (I wasn’t one). A fire truck drove by and started honking in support. It was a big to-do at the time.
