We are closely reaching the climax of the fable -”The straw that broke the camels back”.
These people are going to keep pushing until something snaps and then there will be major problems.
Local radio on Fri kept announcing on the Hourly/half hourly news that ACLU and some lawyer for an outfit called ‘Law-Black Lives??’ ‘warning’ the District and DOJ that the black and brown protestors to the Inauguration must be afforded protection from the Trump supporters etc etc.’
If you get a group that already feels it is doing something and give them ‘false hope’ that they will be allowed to block steets and disrupt the public in general, one is asking for trouble.
Then spend the last week ‘reminding’ everyone that the head of all the Departments/Agencies will be ‘gone’ at 1201 - possibly giving people the ‘false hope’ that the people running things will be in chaos.
Of course if you never had a job, served in the military or LEO etc, that leaders get changed ALL the time, you may tend to believe all this crap.
This daily hatchet job that the WashComPost is doing everyday should be rewarded by the Administration.

Of course he expected a Trump reply. That was the whole point. Insult Trump and goad him into an insult of a genuine hero of the Civil Rights Movement. Had the Left thought of this three months ago they may have won, as this Trump reaction would gave been used to rouse Black voters which may have helped win Pa. and Mich. And whatever his opinions and attitudes today, Lewis was a genuine hero resisting the bigoted use of state power by Democrats.
John Lewis was beaten up in 1965 and has been trading on that event ever since. He has been a less than distinguished member of congress for over 20 years based on that beating and every time the democrats want to play the race card on someone, they trot out old John and his tale of woe. Is there not some time limit on deference owed to someone who was once treated unjustly?
