President-elect Donald Trump unleashed a Twitter attack on Congressman and civil rights icon John Lewis, after the lawmaker said he wouldn't attend Trump's inauguration because he doesn't see him as a "legitimate president."
Lewis in an interview with NBC on Friday cited Russia's meddling in the election for his view on the legitimacy of the presidential election results, and his comments stoked controversy with Republicans and debate inside the Democratic Party.
"I don't see this president-elect as a legitimate president," Lewis said.

You can't drain the swamp by electing a nice-guys-finish-last kind of person like Yeb. The swamp creatures would eat Yeb alive.
To drain the swamp, Trump has to smack some of these slimy swamp critters up side the head to get their attention.
They need to know who the new, big alpha-male croc in the swamp is now. Lewis just found out the hard way.
Lewis is projecting the same mentality that would have been expressed toward him and his race by some 50 to 60 years ago. He should understand this.

By typical standards he would Trump would be saying by defending, ‘I am legitimate’ which is like Jeb saying ‘I am not in therapy.’ Trump defending by going after the other person takes the focus off the legitimate statement and puts it onto looking at Lewis’ district.
Although, in general, I agree with your point, there has to come a time when we push back against the Left's bullying Republicans into silence. If not now, when?
I survey the 2017 political and governmental landscape in our country and see political correctness, racial animus, and government excess totally out of control. We have "sanctuary" cities, states and other entities openly defying federal law. We have police officers being assassinated at the rate of about 5 a month. There is so much wrong it's impossible to list everything here.
So I ask again. If we don't push back now, when will we finally grow the spine to do it? Someone has to take the lead and show us the way. Donald Trump has volunteered to do it. Do we help him in any way we can, or do we just sit back as always and throw him to the wolves?

As I recall he was marching with Nasty Pelosi when someone supposedly used the word which shall not be used...Only there was video everywhere and no one had a record of it.
