WASHINGTON — America’s intelligence chiefs sat down with members of Congress behind closed doors on Friday for what they thought would be a straightforward briefing on Russian cyberattacks. What ensued instead was a confrontation Democrats have long sought with James B. Comey, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Why, the House Democrats demanded to know, did Mr. Comey believe it was O.K. to make repeated disclosures during the campaign about the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails but to this day refuse to say if the F.B.I. is investigating links between the Trump campaign and Russia?
His answers did not prove very satisfying. Representative Nancy Pelosi of California, the minority leader, grew so frustrated that at one point she chastised Mr. Comey for being “condescending to members.”
Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz of Florida, who was chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee when it was hacked, asked why Mr. Comey had never called her about the intrusions, which began in August 2015 and continued over the course of many months. The F.B.I. notified the committee of the original hacking, but reached a low-level tech support contractor and went back and forth with him for months before the leadership of the organization was informed and took steps to halt the intrusion.

I still don’t believe that the Russians did the hacking.
Clinton paid for violence at Trump rallies. She paid for the blockage of highways, looting of trucks, assaults - including assaults on police, and the cancellation of a Trump rally.
She is tied to the “Hamilton Electors” group which promoted electors to be faithless.
Her former co-worker, her husband’s employee, funds and controls the company which produced the report the FBI was forced to rely on after the DNC refused access to the machine. The same machine they complain about now.
Does anyone really believe she would not promote the “Russian Conspiracy” with one baseless assertion after another?

They are goading Comey into opening up the Clinton investigation again. This way Obama can pardon her.

Name the issue and it is just a ruse to cover for the underlying agenda, ditch capitalism and install socialism/communism/globalism.
I can not believe the depth of corruption within our government. we are living in 1984 and we never hear a peep from the our supposed representatives. When the hell are Republicans going to start playing dirty like these scumbags. Sure looks like they are manipulation our intelligence agencies I see no fight what so ever. Clinton commits the crime and Trump pays the price and we just let it happen.
FBI warned Clinton campaign in Spring, campaign refused to allow FBI to examine email info and logs...
I have a feeling more is to come. The DNC didn’t want the FBI to go snooping around because they might find something that is against the law.
They should be thanking him for not locking her up!
nah- the president could ‘preemptively pardon’ her- doesn’t need to be an investigation for that to happen i believe-
So here’s the thing: Why don’t Loretta Lynch and Obammy fire Comey? I mean they could have done this months ago?

I read this as “Democrats are pissed that they were able to intimidate Comey enough to not recommend prosecution of Hillary Clinton but not enough to totally shut him up”.
