After kicking off the New Year by warning that there were only three weeks remaining to stop President-elect Donald Trump from taking office, Rosie O’Donnell has proposed a tactic to do just that — by imposing martial law to delay Trump’s inauguration.
The 54-year-old comedian took to Twitter Wednesday night to call for the suspension of regular presidential succession rules until such time as Trump could be “cleared” of all the “charges” against him. O’Donnell didn’t specify to which charges she was referring.
In a follow-up tweet, O’Donnell said Trump had “cheated,” and that marital law could be used to delay the inauguration until the President-elect could be fully investigated.

I was in Greece when martial law was installed. Everyone was terrified. A cabdriver found a camera in his cab and went to every person who had been in his cab to find out if it was theirs. I know because he came to ask us in our hotel. He was so afraid he would be accused of trying to keep it, with no due process. The military was in charge.
In hushed tones, our new acquaintances would say as we walked around Syntagma Square, “There is no law!”

George H.W. Bush want to Iran when he was the VP nominee to make sure the hostages didn't get released until after Reagan's inauguration, so they could steal that election.
Nixon interfered with the Vietnam peace talks to drag out the war so he could get elected.
