Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Hager wrote a warm letter to the Obamas' daughters, Malia and Sasha, cheering them on as they begin the next step in their lives after spending eight years in the White House.
"Now you are about to join another rarified club, one of former First Children — a position you didn’t seek and one with no guidelines. But you have so much to look forward to," wrote the Bush sisters in a Time magazine op-ed published on Thursday.
"You will be writing the story of your lives, beyond the shadow of your famous parents, yet you will always carry with you the experiences of the past eight years,"
In their letter, the Bush twins recalled the warm memories of their own childhood and their experience growing up in the White House.
"The four of us wandered the majestic halls of the house you had no choice but to move in to. When you slid down the banister of the solarium, just as we had done as 8-year-olds and again as 20-year-olds chasing our youth, your joy and laughter were contagious," they wrote.
The letter also urged the president's daughters to look past the harsh criticism of their parents and the immense pressure that comes with being in the first family.
"You have lived through the unbelievable pressure of the White House. You have listened to harsh criticism of your parents by people who had never even met them. You stood by as your precious parents were reduced to headlines," the Bush sisters said. "Your parents, who put you first and who not only showed you but gave you the world. As always, they will be rooting for you as you begin your next chapter. And so will we."

It doesn’t benefit us to criticize something like this between the girls.
I appreciate your note of agreement.
I wish them all the best also, but I’ll admit it is somewhat difficult to wish the Obamas well knowing what the father was trying to do to the nation.

GAG— I can’t stand Jenna Bush. She just gets on my nerves for some reason. Loves herself and who she is a little too much. Yes, a famous president daughter can be a celebrity with great jobs. GAG-again.

She pulled down a $170K salary with a job description of taking care of her grandchildren
After 8 years of government employment, she will be pulling down over $150K per year on government retirement benefits for the rest of her life.
And then there were what - 95 million worth of tax payer funded vacations.
Today I saw a bumper sticker in front of me. It said

The O had an Obama logo wavy thing in it. I almost bumped the car because I thought it was an Obama sticker. Then I realized it was one of us!!!

That salary increased to $450,000 when Obama was elected to the US Senate.
Neither of the Obamas have had a real job in their lives
Can’t help but feel sorry for the two girls — they had nothing to do with the mayhem of the last eight years. They are probably the most bewildered members of that entire family.
Barron does not need letters — he has the entire world by the ba**s and he doesn’t even have to squeeze to get what he wants.
It’s nice that all four of those young Democrats have something in common.
They likely aren’t their children but some “adopted” kids to complete the illusion..,the fraud. Has anyone ever seen baby pics...family pics? These people are the greatest fraud ever.
If we were really interested in the truth, all we need to do is take four DNA samples.
