The Justice Department inspector general will review broad allegations of misconduct involving the FBI’s investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email practices and the bureau’s controversial decision shortly before the election to announce the probe had resumed, the inspector general announced Thursday.
The probe will be wide ranging — encompassing the FBI’s various public statements on the matter, whether its deputy director should have been recused and whether FBI or other Justice Department employees leaked nonpublic information, according to a news release from Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz.
Lawmakers and others had called previously for the inspector general to probe the FBI’s pre-election actions when it came to the Clinton probe, alleging that FBI Director James B. Comey bucked long-standing policies with his communications about the case and that information seemed to have leaked inappropriately — perhaps to former New York City mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani.
Horowitz said in a news release that he will explore those topics and more, though he will not re-litigate whether anyone should have faced charges.
“The review will not substitute the OIG’s judgment for the judgments made by the FBI or the Department regarding the substantive merits of investigative or prosecutive decisions,” the news release said, using an acronym for the Office of the Inspector General.

I believe this to be another ‘TACTIC’ of the sour grapes losers on the left. They are thinking I am thinking that IF they get this “investigation show” ESTABLISHED that their enemy will be compelled to keep it in its entirety including their appointed personnel through to fruition. IF NOT they will have another basis (in their minds such as they are) with which to protest. IOW create another negative scene.
Their goal IMO is to negate ultimately the entire Trump era by flooding it with negativity.

But Horowitz will not investigate the Clinton / Lynch meeting at the airport.
I don’t think any of us have seen so much eleventh hour turmoil and activity at the end of an administration in modern times. Perhaps ever.

Clinton can’t believe that she was rejected.
His computers were hacked by Russia, China, and Israel. So she did expose state secrets - ie there was harm. The lack of harm apparently was part of the reason that Comey was able to ignore bringing criminal charges.
What a joke, if they think Hillary lost because of those emails or any kind of hacking then they are completely delusional. She lost because people are sick to death of illegal immigration and terror attacks of which she would have done nothing, not to mention she sat on her ass her whole campaign, her message was vague as hell, not to mention she has accomplished ZERO while Trump was out there every day busting his butt, was very clear about what he would do. 7 more days thank God!
Her extreme arrogance did her in. She really thought the election was in the bag for her, that she had to do nothing but sit back, that she would be coronated to the point where they had shows and fireworks all planned. But instead the American people gave the biggest middle finger that any politician has ever been given in this countries history, best election ever! The people gave Washington a clear message and these BRATS can’t accept it, and that IS a total insult to the people and proves even more why she should have never won. Does anyone believe for one second that if she won, Obama and all the rest of these punks would be concerned about Russian “hacking”?
Sure, the DOJ IG is going to find anything negative on that cow running that slop house. Doing so indicts Bubba on the Tarmac as well. Comey going down is better than 50/50, gives Hildabeast and RATS talking point for the next four years on Trump the illegitimate President. Bet on it.

If she's right, then perhaps the IG is not completely in the tank for Hillary. Not getting my hopes up though.
