The Pointless Women's March Against Trump
Reason ^ | Jan. 12, 2017 | Shikha Dalmia

Demonstrations serve a useful function in a democracy — but only when they have clarity of purpose. That is not the case with the Women's March on Washington, which will be held in Washington, D.C., the day after Donald Trump is sworn in. If anything, this particular demonstration is shaping up to be a feel-good exercise in search of a cause. But the sad thing is that if it fizzles and fails, it'll make it harder, not easier, to fight genuine rights violations under the Trump presidency.

Plans to bring together women from all walks of life started surfacing on social media the morning after the election — partly out of disappointment that Hillary Clinton didn't get elected America's first female president, and partly out of revulsion that a loud-mouthed sexist who berated women did. Well more than 100,000 people have signed up on Facebook and other venues, at least a good portion of whom had already booked hotels and flights to D.C. in anticipation of Hillary's historic inauguration.

...

Everything else about the Women's March, however, is reaching a level of absurdity worthy of the man they are protesting. Start with the fact that they are billing this event as the voice of women when 42 percent of women (and 62 percent of non-college educated white women) actually voted for Trump.

I hope Rosie O’Donut quits whatever lame Hollywood job she has these days to go join this movement full-time. I still find it hilarious that she dumped her Hollywood career (with pay through the stratosphere) for the Million Mom March.

Well you can only buy so many shoes.
Maybe her closet is full.

I live in the DC area and love to photograph events like this, so I'll be there. If it's like most of these goofy demonstrations, the Socialist Workers Party and all the hard left trolls will come out from under their bridges and set up their little shops; those are great photo opps, what with the Che Guevara signs and other absurdities. Bring your game faces, ladies!

My wife, bless her heart, refuses to go near this event, even for laughs.

They want to protest the inclusion of women in Trump’s White House.

LOL

These people are really taxed to think clearly.

From what I have read, this is actually a BLM sponsored event, and whites aren’t welcome.

Can you post a report with photos here?

Think of it as an outing for all the angry feminazis who are convinced that having a corrupt incompetent woman in the White House is the answer to all of the country’s problems. Please, please let them expose their agenda for everyone to see.

I hope people get pictures of the wackiest marchers. Fake news media will focus on celebs and the more normal looking people. There’s always a lot of freaks at these things.

I heard that two of the organizers used to work for Al Sharpton. They are pulling people away from his MLK march - he’s getting very concerned no one will show up. I also saw comments somewhere that white women are getting the feeling that they may not be as welcome as they thought they’d be at the ‘women’s march’ because the organizers are primarily black - one white woman was going to take her daughter, but now neither are going.

Bottom line, I hope all the protest marches crash and burn (figuratively, not literally) on Jan. 20.

Found a link for the Sharpton angle:

Ha, ha. You must have a stronger constitution than I do. Watching all these goofy leftists singing and chanting with their bongo drums is too much for me. But if you get close enough maybe you’ll inhale enough THC that you won’t really be bothered... except for your possible desperate search for Doritos.

This is to organize women into a whining group of frustrated fools who will fixate on Trump for the next 4 years.

It is not pointless. Any man with a brain will avoid dating, engaging or marrying any moron who attends that “rally”.

I slogged my way through the whole article. I don’t think the author is slamming these women for protesting Trump; she applauds that aspect of it. The author feels it’s too soon and this particular ‘Pink Pussy Cat Hat’ protest, which is fractured and has various groups of wymyn arguing with one another, is going to make them all look foolish.

Which it does and it will. But they’ll do it, anyway.

“Feminists are confusing the issue by making Trump’s threat about themselves. If they really wanted to help, they would have kept their powder dry for now, rather than embark on this confused and pointless march.”

This started out as a “Million Woman March,” but if they get a few thousand to actually show up, that will be a miracle.

Those who show up will be the usual cast of filthy/hideous Code Pink fat slobs with some BLM lesbians thrown in. What’s interesting is the BLM hags are wagging their fingers at the non-black participants, telling them they need to “check their white privilege” at the door.

—AS IF the BLM beyotches are the bosses of all the protesters, LMAO.

They’re all a bunch of ugly sore losers, I scorn them all.
