“All the issues that define our bilateral relationship are on the table, including security, migration and trade”
Until “Wall” is on the table, there are no other issues.
Big League! Simply Big League!
Pena Nieto said Mexico would invest in a more secure border but repeated that it would not pay for Trump’s wall.
So funny.
Now they are saying we ight pay for part of the wall. LOL. Trump got in their OODA loop and now owns them. They are so paying for the wall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n0APAc3yVJ8
If Mexico had an honest government that believed in free markets and individual rights, as well as executing drug traffickers, they would be an economic powerhouse.
Mexico: Besa mi culo.
At this point, the wall is a forgone conclusion. It is only who will pay for it under discussion. Which actually I don’t care either way, that’s just for negotiation. I do agree with El President that negotiations should be wide open. Mexico is collapsing right now, and so Trump’s leverage is far higher than just last summer. Mexico is so weak we really aught to be concerned about a civil war or revolution there.
Damn you Republicans who have missed this for decades!
Do I hear the makings of an agreement to help pay for a wall?
Perhaps we can trade them a few million mexican citizens for a few million barrels of oil
“Mexico says to seek broad negotiating strategy with Trump.”
Do I hear them Sh@tting bricks?
you just gave two more good reasons for having the Wall!
Just legalize drugs and you can put drug traffickers out of business without firing a shot. The War on Drugs has been as successful as the War on Poverty and the War on Terror.
They said “broad negotiations”, heh, heh, heh....
They are staring into the abyss where the peso has already gone.
>>Mexico is collapsing, Trumps leverage is far higher than just last summer. Mexico is so weak we really aught to be concerned about a civil war or revolution there.<<<
Indeed, things could get much worse in Mexico, more reason for the wall.
Could you imagine what would happen if they received all of their impoverished people and criminals back at one time...
As angry as people have been about the last eight years, always be thankful not to have been born south of the border.
I do not care what happens to Mexico. I only care about the USA at this point. Good fences(walls) make good neighbors.
Publicly they need to respond with pride and bravado and say “No F ..ing Way will we pay,” to save face.
Privately, it’s a whole different enchilada.
I would up the ante to a border wall plus a 50 mile neutral zone border area all in mexican territory. It can be a us military training area and anyone in it is fair game.
If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.
