A passage from the Koran that denies one of the central tenets of the Christian faith was sung aloud at a cathedral service in Scotland. The passage from Surah 19, which specifically denies that Jesus was the Son of God and says He should not be worshipped, was sung during a Eucharist service at St Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral in Glasgow to mark the feast of the Epiphany.

TheNext, you seem to want to throw out the whole first chapter of the Gospel of John. It will reward careful reading, and I recommend it as essential to our =understanding of Jesus as God.
But in addition to that, how ‘bout:
“Before Abraham came to be, I AM”?
How ‘bout:
“The Father and I are One”?
How ‘bout David prophetically calling Jesus “My Lord”?
(As David’s son, he cannot be David’s “Lord” -— unless He came before David)
How ‘bout Thomas finally “getting it” and saying:
“My Lord and My God”?
How ‘bout His very name meaning: GOD WITH US????
When Jesus uses language that maes it sound as if He’s sparate from God (”My God my God, whjy has thou forsaen me?”-— and other passages) He is talking about His human nature.
He is a Divine Person ith two natures: a divine nature and a human nature.
In His Divine Nature He is equal to the Father and the Holy Spirit: He is God.
In His human nature He is the highest of human creatures.
His human and divine natures are inseparable in is one Person the Divine Person who is the Second Person of the Trinity and Eternal Word of the Father.
This was all hashed out in Ecumenical Councils which carefully considered ALL of Scripture, comparing book to book, chapter to chapter, verse to verse—— over 16 centuries ago.
Assessment: Credible.
The thing I don't get is why someone who didn't have faith would become a minister in the first place? They just in it for the snazzy wardrobe and the three square meals a day?
Your sweeping allegation was that the majority of Anglican clergy are agnostic, that would be more than just one bishop of one diocese. I am asking that you provide proof of your allegation. Waiting...

Abu Burda reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with AS HEAVY SINS AS A MOUNTAIN, and Allah would FORGIVE THEM and He would PLACE IN THEIR STEAD the Jews and the Christians. (As far as I think), Abu Raub said: I do not know as to who is in doubt. Abu Burda said: I narrated it to ‘Umar b. ‘Abd al-’Aziz, whereupon he said: Was it your father who narrated it to you from Allah’s Apostle (may peace be upon him)? I said: Yes. Where in all of Great Britain have any of the spiritual heirs to the decadent Henry VIII , Anglican, Episcopal or whatever they call themselves spoken out against this denial of Christ? It simply does not matter to them any more than the local weather forecast for Portland, Oregon. You can continue to delude yourself and ignore the reality that Anglican clergy are simply not men and women of Christ. If they were, they would be honor bound to seek the removal of that so called bishop. They won’t. For the sake of your well being strongly suggest you disassociate yourself from the Episcopal Church.

“Baptists who don’t believe” is a contradiction in terms.
If they are Baptists, they believe. If they are non believers, they not Baptists.
The same may be said of any Christian religion., I can say, “I’m a car”, that doesn’t mean that I AM a car.
