MITCHELL: Rick, here’s the difference. We do it, they do it. What made this different is that the Russians weaponized it by transferring it through intermediaries to WikiLeaks. They dumped it out. We do it and hold it. They do it and hold it.

MITCHELL: Let me finish my sentence — WikiLeaks was out from the end of the summer and it was being investigated.
SANTELLI: So where were these headlines then?

MITCHELL: There was plenty of headlines. There was no proof of who did it.
SANTELLI: People in charge of intelligence are political as well.
DONNA EDWARDS: What happened here is the intelligence gathering that normally takes place was operationalized by the Russians to interfere with our elections. If you look at the report —
MITCHELL: They did it in Ukraine. They’re doing it in Germany.
EDWARDS: They’re doing it in Germany right now and this is really serious. We’re not going to get over by just saying everybody does it.
SANTELLI: Right, we should be solving the problem instead of making it a political hot potato. Let me see the Cuban missiles on the island picture. Trump needs to see it before networks need to see it.

What is really amazing is that 1) Democrats do not dispute the contents of what was supposedly hacked and 2) they still refuse that accept that fact that Hillary was a flawed candidate who was exposed by wikileaks for being corrupt.
But more importantly, the media is really pissed off that wikileaks exposed what the MSM refused to report. If they want to blame Russia, and I think Trump should put context around it. The MSM chose to hide Clinton’s crimes, thereby disenfranchising the American voter.

Santelli’s right - almost everyone at MSNBC looked like their best friend had died when they learned Trump was going to be President.
Some of the folks at FoxNews looked the same... really telling.
They have moved on now to outright saying the non-event Wikileaks emails was Russian hacking and there is still ZERO evidence of that. NONE!
O No!!!!!! They weaponized the leak, just like biological warfare. Ever notice how terms that the DNC focus groups come up with to spin end up being regurgitated word for word by the media? But they definitely don’t pick sides.
