Talladega College band will perform at inauguration, school's president says

Talladega, Alabama (CNN)The marching band of a small historically black college in Alabama will participate in the 58th Presidential Inaugural Parade, the school's president announced Thursday.

After days of controversy, it has been decided that the marching band from the historically black college in Talladega, Alabama will march in the inaugural parade of Presidsent-elect Trump. A pretty courageous decision by the school officials.

If that band gives an honest performance, they will receive the largest recognition they could ever dream of.
I do not think they will be looking for the money for long.

It is actions like this that prompted the Democrat Party to institute the KKK in the first place, Will they do it again?

I hope the will realize some positive recognition and other benefits from it. They are a fairly small school in a town of about 16,000 not that far from me.

These days I think the KKK exists mostly in people’s imaginations. Very few actual members around anymore.

Yep, the names of some past members do appear on some public buildings, on statues and in the history books. But it'd be hard to put together a well attended meeting these days.
