Obama tells Democrats: 'Don't rescue' Republicans on 'Trumpcare'

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama delivered a mandate to Democrats on Wednesday: "Don't rescue" Republicans on Obamacare. Less than three weeks out from leaving the White House, Obama visited Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill with a mission to save his signature healthcare reform law as Republicans are moving quickly to unroll the Affordable Care Act.

In the closed-door meeting, the President urged fellow Democrats to not "rescue" Republicans by helping them pass replacement measures, according to sources in the room. He also floated this idea: Start referring to the GOP's new plan as "Trumpcare." The suggestion was a clear indication of the Democratic Party's goal of turning the tables on Republicans, who are already facing pressure to quickly craft a replacement bill.

The jackarse also has no idea what a powerful bear he poked. I rewatched a bunch of old Apprentice episodes. When PE Trump rebukes a candidate, he often defuses the sting by relating to one of his own character flaws. Once he said that when he is unfairly attacked, he never let’s it go and looks for opportunity to settle the score. That dinner full of snide insults is coming home to roost. By the time PE Trump is done, barky’s regime will have few traces left. And it’s at least 50% personal.

It’s not that republicans refused to help, no, they were shut out. They were not asked to help and it was made clear early on that their help was not wanted, on anything that the democrats did for the first two years of Mr. Obama’s presidency.

Remember, the democrats had a supermajority in both the house and senate and they had the presidency, it was two years of one party rule.

I suspect that is exactly what Mr. Obama wanted.

Excellent news! With obamacare in a death spiral, Democrat obstructionism guarantees enough time for a complete collapse. Obama is setting the Dems up for yet another obamacare suicide mission that guarantees that they will lose even more House and Senate seats two years from now. Obama will still be haunting the Democrat party even when he is no longer President.

With Donald Trump as President, the fake stream media no longer has the credibility to convince the American people with their lies that the obamacare collapse is the Republicans fault. President Trump will come out blasting against that kind of fake stream media propaganda, unlike the frightened little Milquetoast Republicans of the past.

Should Democrat obstructionism precipitate the final collapse of obamacare in the next two years, 2018 will be the final Waterloo for the Democrat party.

I didn’t realize until I heard Newt say something about how Obama’s legacy can be undone very quickly...because he didn’t put the hard work in by working with Congress to pass meaningful legislation...he executive ordered everything, and those can be erased.

Patriots, brace yourselves for the corrupt media crediting the Obama Administration for the prosperity that citizens will hopefully be enoying under Trump’s proven business management leadership.

Since the replacement won’t entail the crushing government control of Obamacare, I don’t see how the Trumpcare name would apply.

So I guess Obama wasn’t so happy with the ‘Obamacare’ label after all.

How ironic, if it works Obama just named the plan “Trumpcare”.

What’s this replace business? A few years ago we were all yelling unconstitutional! Looks like republicans sold that principle right down the river.

Some things never change.

What incentive to the Democrats have to help with whatever the Republicans replace it with?

Keeping their jobs after 2018. Unless they live in deep-blue states.

I'm not sure. With Obamacare repealed then that kind of takes that albatross off from around their neck. If the Republicans muff the replacement or take too long then that may well help a Democrat incumbent in any state, Red or Blue.

I saw rep. Pete Sessions on fox and friends this morning. Surprised to hear him say he has Obama care and of course hates it.
