as bare knuckled as israeli politics is, it’s totally delusional to imagine that somehow obama is at the bottom of this.
first of all. he’s not competent enough to pull off something this complicated.
there are literally hundreds of perfectly legitimate outrages the the obamites really are responsibly for — pick one of those.
If I were the President of the United States, on the basis of this idiocy alone I would never let this dope set foot on U.S. soil.
Very well could be. Also grid down, blame the Russians, and declare Martial law - they are desperate. Just hope Trump makes it through the inauguration, and pulls the plug on the swamp.
Hope so too, though he’ll need an army to pull the plug on the swamp.
Netanyahu lived periodically in the U.S. when he was younger, but he spent most of his time in the Philadelphia and Boston areas. He probably wouldn't have had any occasion to cross paths with Trump until the 1980s when he was Israel's ambassador to the U.N.

Obama is behind the investigation. The corruption engaged is normal for Israel but the push to go after a politician engaging in it, is motivated by Obama and the left.
care to explain how?

That is exactly when and what I read - Trump in NY and Bibi in NY as ambassador.
I think I’ve seen more wacky conspiracy stories here on FreeRepublic in the last six months than I saw on the rest of the internet over the last five years.
What if they aren’t?
Right — but in the 1980s, you’d be hard pressed to find someone in New York City who DIDN’T know Donald Trump. LOL.
LOL. Everyone knew “The Donald” by then.
Rejoice!
yep. people are losing it.
you know they are not.
Wasn’t that back around the time that Saddam was paying families of terrorists if those terrorists died attacking Israelis?
I suspect there isn't a single person here on FreeRepublic with enough knowledge of the facts to make a determination one way or another.
Why would you make such a gross assumption about what I know and what I don't know?
When you simply look at the content of his prediction (his "guarantee," in fact) from today's perspective, he makes George W. Bush and Barack Obama seem like freaking geniuses in comparison even though they probably have a combined IQ of about 180 between them.
>>U.S. and France have a mutual defense treaty<<
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Paper.
Actually, the only reliable European ally has been the U.K.
It was U.S. and U.K. that stood together in the line facing the USSR, etc.
It was France that attempted to crash the dollar by redeeming for gold in 1971.
In WWII, half of France collaborated with Hitler and the other half were mostly commies.
Now France is actively trying to turn Europe Muslim as part of their own demented scheme for relevancy.
If you think Israel has not been a more worthy ally, then you are not very well informed. We have at least one base in Israel (none in France) and the port of call in the eastern Mediterranean for the United States Sixth Fleet is Haifa. Israel provides other logistical and maintenance support for U.S. forces in the region. The two countries also share intelligence and maintain a joint anti-terrorist working group.
There are also rumors of more secret levels of cooperation including possibly a secret U.S. base and weapons deployments.
