Trump sure as hell needs to eliminate a half dozen departments and agencies. None of them existed during the Industrial Revolution, and we don’t need them today.
The more they impair the process, the greater the victory when EACH ONE IS CONFIRMED.
And I'd bet that there are at least a dozen Republicans who would vote against that.

I think I heard that most of Obama’s picks were approved on Day One. A couple others took longer, but the entire process was only about two weeks.
I’ll never understand why they think they’re special — that they throw common courtesy out the window, or that they make up rules for themselves (one of which we’ll use now — thank you Harry Reid!), or that they can lock the GOP out of a room and pass a law by stealth. They’re just evil, and proud of it.
