I think they should have a giant bon fire open to the public where they burn all of the mattresses and pillows and everything else the O’bungholes may have touched.

Trump should have some aids bringing him EOs to sign while Hussein is speaking.

"Trump will only have three official inaugural balls as compared with 10 separate balls for Barack Obama’s 2009 inauguration."

Obama was/is about I,I,Me,Me,Me,while PE Trump is about the American People. Quite a big positive difference between the two?

The only stars he needs is a military band playing the Star Spangled Banner and then get down to work.

Maybe we could carry a torch across the country, like in the Olympics, touching only red districts, and when it gets to D.C. during the inaguration we can light a bonfire of ObamaCare, TPP, and any other regulations he will eliminate in the first 100 days.

I like your style!!

Just saw CDB in Branson about a month ago.
80 years old and did 90 minutes with two breaks.
He still can put on a good show.

And Ted, I don’t care what he sings, after all the grief he has given Obama and company has my vote as well.

Maybe “Cat Scratch Fever”?

If you watched all his rallies, it’s no surprise that he isn’t a glitz and glitter type guy - he likes to do it up right but not to the point it becomes kitschy....

Reminds me of when I was talking with the owner of Starkey Hearings Aids, many moons ago, and he mentioned he “just got back from fitting President Reagan with aids.” I thought— maybe even said— “You might want to phrase that differently.”

That really is a great idea. It is the American peoples’ house anyways. I can imagine tens of thousands of regular hardworking Joes showing up, and have some snotty elite establishment type be overheard referring to them as rabble and trash deplorables. That’s what the DC elites think of all of us anyways. I think Trump should do this!

The customary parade of anywhere from 4 to 6 hours is cut to about 1 to 1.5 hours. Then it is off to the White house to get to work and then when it is time for the 3 Balls, instead of the 8-10, go to them. Get some shuteye and then call Ryan at 0300 and dispense a dose of reality.

He’s a Working Man at heart. So he wants to get to work. Gotta respect that. He has class.

A Freeper said it best - “he’s just like us... but with a LOT more money...”

Truly I say, regardless of who is president, I’d like to see less pomp every time.

On the one hand, just showing up for work Jan 21 seems a little too low key. Some sort of ceremony, reinforcing the truth of a peaceful transition of power, is right.

But we are not crowning a king. It gets really over the top.

I love this guy! Go Trump!

Nothing would tickle me more than right after the swearing in, he hands off a piece of paper and says “Arrest these people now.”

I think part of Obama’s petulance at this time is to overwhelm and tie Trump up for the first few months so he can’t get to his agenda. So, yeah Trump needs to get to work the very first minute he can and dig out from under the trash Obama is trying to throw on him.

Is there a time set for Trump’s speech? That is what I’m interested in hearing. If they aren’t going to do Patriotic music I could care less who performs. Celebrating the USA’s greatness is better than a hit song by some singer.

The National Anthem and Pledge are a must. Lots of Patriotic music that has been forgotten in favor of rap crap or hip hop. A real 4th of July Special like in the old days.

The Donald is driven to make things right. I can sense it in him. He is a proud man, in that he has taken on the greatest challenge of his life and he wants to prove himself. He is very protective of his reputation and this will bode well for Americans. What he says, he will do everything he can to accomplish. That’s the way he is.
