Schumer worried Kerry 'has emboldened extremists'
The Washington Examiner ^ | December 28, 2016 | Daniel Chaitin

"While Secretary Kerry mentioned Gaza in his speech, he seems to have forgotten the history of the settlements in Gaza, where the Israeli government forced settlers to withdraw from all settlements and the Palestinians responded by sending rockets from Gaza into Israel," Schumer said in a statement. "This is something that people of all political stripes in Israel vividly remember.

Just be thankful he is criticizing - he could be supporting Obama/Kerry on this. We need all on Israels side that we can get.

Yep. It is akin to the SS saying they didn’t approve of Hitler’s policies.

John F'n Kerry has always been a leftwing communist.

From embracing the NV Commies to supporting Daniel Ortega (along with Tom Harkin), the communist leader of Nicaragua.

I understand your point, but...eh...he should have been on their side before all this went down.

I guess that makes no difference...on January 20th, there will be an important person on Israel's side.

The Jewish vote is extremely important for Democrats in New York.

For reasons I'll never understand, most Jewish people (certainly not all, but most) politically range from just left of center all the way to outright communist. So I doubt the Democrats have anything to worry about.

Karl Marx was a non-practicing Jew who denied his own Jewish heritage, and we see in our time a wide range of Jewish Americans who are rabidly pro Left.

I don't mean this in any way as a slur against Jewish people, but only a statement of fact. To me it's a strange phenomenon that so many Jewish people seem to prefer Marxist statism rather than a more decentralized solution to government such as is establish in our Constitution. Yet National Socialism (i.e., Nazi) and Soviet communism destroyed the lives of more Jewish people than any other form of government ever devised. Perplexing.

He is not an Israeli, so he can’t be a traitor to them. What he is, is the most recent in a long line of Jewish Democrat politicians who cannot grasp the fundamental hostility to Israel within a significant portion of the Democrat Party.

Secretary Kerry has an upper class disdain for Israel that is part classic upper crust anti-Semitism and part Ivy League unwillingness to understand the absolute hostility to Israel’s existence that Arab leaders have stoked in order to mask their own failures.

The odd part of this whole thing is that on the practical level, Arab governments such as Egypt, Jordan, and the Saudis are cooperating with Israel against both ISIL/ISIS and Iran. Two separate movements that want both the Israelis and these governments destroyed.

Of course the Arab governments will never admit this, but their official hostility masks a mutual need for a strong Israel. Israel and its conventional military power (and officially non-existent nuclear umbrella) protects them from external attack and deters Syria and Iran. Israel understands that the officially hostile governments in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and particularly Jordan actually protect Israel’s flanks and allow it to focus on the threats from Iran (including Hezbollah in Lebanon), and the chronic trouble in the West Bank and Gaza.

I sure hope so...looking at his tweets yesterday:

He doesn't appear too shy to call call a spade a spade. I don't have a crystal ball, but if this is any indication, the one thing I had great hope for, that we wouldn't hear phrases like "my esteemed colleague across the aisle", might actually become reality with Trump as President.

I used to grit my teeth when President Bush would put out his hand and use phrases like that, only to pull back a bloody stump. And he did it over and over.

I had respect for Bush as a person and decision-maker (even if they weren't always the right ones) but I DETESTED his "bipartisanship" efforts. I disagreed with many things he did, but that one got my goat.

Bull shit! Schumer is not worried about anything except his own interests. He approves and knows in advance everything obama does. Especially what obama does through Kerry because they both give him a heads up. His public statements are only to keep his sheep pacified until slaughter day. And it is coming. The wise Latina laid the ground work and Harvard has taken steps one and two at least to implement it.

“...UN...garbage dump...”

Definitely get rid of the UN building; demolish it and create a public park to be enjoyed by all New Yorkers - the current building need not be saved; it is “modern”-50’s-era-now-dated-looking-architecture. It occupies a beautiful site on the East River.

Well, since in Schumer’s vocabulary, the only “extremists” are Republicans, then this must be a good thing.

As a conservative Christian, who fully supports Israel, I share your same bewilderment over liberal Jews in this country USA, who voted over 75% for buruck husssain odumboshiite in both 2008 & 2012. Incredible!

Hardcore left-wing marxist ideology will ALWAYS trump (no pun intended) family ties, ethnic or religious background. The most evil people in America right now, seem to be Jewish people - Soros, Schummer, Al Franken, Debra Wasserman-Schultz, Henry Waxman, David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel, etc, and the list goes on....Incredible!

In local elections, Jews are not a Democrat voter group. In 2013, Comrade De Blasio own city-wide 75% of the vote. He won 51% of the Jewish vote and lost the Jewish vote everywhere except Manhattan.

In 2011, the Congressional district formerly held by Schumer and Weiner elected a Conservative-Republican who was pro-life, pro-gun, and for restricting legal immigration. Democrats responded by destroying the most Jewish congressional district in the nation.
