His reference to the “Nakba” was disingenuous. The “catastrophe” was a result of the Arab world rejecting the Partition Plan and warring against the fledgling Jewish state. If the Arabs had accepted partition, there would not have been a war and a refugee problem in the first place. So the creation of the State of Israel didn’t create this problem; the rejection by the Arabs of the creation of the State of Israel did. Kerry was trying to give this a “balance” that it doesn’t deserve.

One of the most bizarre events I have ever seen. Obama had 8 years to resolve all of these issues. He did not. Now we are being given the Obama solution with less than 3 weeks left of his administration.

Obama and Kerry have been stung by the hostile bipartisan reaction to the US abstention. They are now defending the indefensible. If they did not agree with every word in the resolution, they should have vetoed it. Failing that, why not vote for it? They took the coward's way out by abstaining.

I hope Bibi has ironclad proof that the US was behind all of this. He should release it now and show what liars Obama and Kerry are. There is no doubt that the US drafted most of the resolution and greased the way for its passage.

The Iran deal has given the Iranians the money to fund Hamas and Hezbollah, their surrogates. It was disastrous for Israel and increased the distrust of the US. Obama's foreign policy is a complete, utter diaster.
