Texas officially kicking Planned Parenthood out of Medicaid

After more than a year of delays, Texas is officially kicking Planned Parenthood out of the state’s Medicaid program.

In a move that could affect thousands of low-income women, state health officials on Tuesday delivered a final legal notice to defund the organization from the Medicaid program through which it provides family planning and women’s health services to the poor. Planned Parenthood had previously received $3.1 million in Medicaid funding, but those dollars will be nixed in 30 days, according to the notice which was obtained by The Texas Tribune.

That cut-off day will only be delayed if the organization appeals the state's decision in the next 15 days by requesting an administrative hearing with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. But Planned Parenthood officials say they will instead turn to the courts to block the cuts.

"Planned Parenthood continues to serve Medicaid patients and will seek a preliminary injunction in an ongoing lawsuit filed in November 2015, following the state’s original threats to take action against Planned Parenthood’s patients," said Yvonne Gutierrez, executive director of Planned Parenthood Texas Votes, the organization's political arm.

The battle over the funding Planned Parenthood received for those health services — which are separate from its abortion services that receive no public funds — began in October 2015 when Gov. Greg Abbott and state health officials first moved to cut off Medicaid funding, about 90 percent of which comes from the federal government, to the organization’s Texas affiliates.

The local news here in Houston said that Obama is “putting Texas on notice” because he is not happy with this.

In my opinion Obama can go screw himself.

“In my opinion Obama can go screw himself.”

I imagine Planned Parenthood could help with that.

It is also possible that Planned Parenthood committed other federal offenses including but not limited to:

<><> Title 18 U.S.C. §1341, Mail Fraud, 18 U.S.C.§1001, Presenting a False Document to an Agent of the US Government (involves several felonies and could include forgery);

<><> 18 U.S.C.§1027 False statements and concealment of facts in relation to documents required by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and other possible offenses including civiland/or criminal RICO violations.

<><> 18 U.S.C. §§1961-68 (RICO Act)18 U.S.C. §1001 (making false Statements to Agents of the US Government),

<><> 18 U.S.C. §241(Conspiracies Against Civil Rights).

Possibly full investigations crentering on RICO conspiracies under 18 U.S.C. §1962(c) could be warranted because (1) the persons (2) were employed by or associated with an enterprise (3) that engaged in or affected interstate commerce and that (4) the persons operated or managed the enterprise (5) through a "pattern" (6) of racketeering activity, and (7) the taxpayers were injured by reason of the "pattern" of racketeering activity.

Alleged Offenses could include Violation of Title 18 U.S.C. §241 – Conspiracy Against Constitutional Rights – which prohibits in relevant part, “two or more persons (from conspiring) to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same . . .” See, 18 U.S.C. §241.

Taxpayers demand investigation by the following agencies commence at once:

<><> FBI -- Wire Fraud Division

<><> IRS-Fraud Unit

<><> Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General,

<><> Department of Commerce’s Office of Inspector General.

<><> DOJ's Criminal Division-- Public Integrity Section

<><> DOJ Criminal Division--Organized Crime and Gang Section.

THE PLANNED PARENTHOOD MO Planned Parenthood of the Gulf Coast paid $4.3 million resolve civil allegations under the False Claims Act, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. That settlement resolved a lawsuit filed by Karen Reynolds, a former medical assistant for a Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast clinic in Lufkin, Texas.

In a statement, the Justice Department said: The government alleges that between 2003 and 2009, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast billed and was paid by government programs, Texas Medicaid, Title XX, and the Women’s Health Program, for certain items and services related to birth control counseling, STD testing and contraceptives when such items and services were either not medically necessary, not medically indicated or not actually provided.

===========================================

Planned Parenthood connived to dramatically increase revenues by converting a voluntary C-Mail program to a mandatory program. Its Iowa clinics eliminated follow-up exams and mailed each client at least a 12-menstrual-cycle supply of contraceptives in three-month increments. To increase profits, Planned Parenthood began sending three prescriptions to clients every 63 days...a 21-day overage.

By the end of 2008, at least 7,000 Medicaid- eligible women were enrolled in the C-Mail contraceptive program. If they moved or refused the pills they'd come back in a brown mailer then sent to inventory. PP would slap on a new sticker and sell them to the next patient.... without ever crediting the first womans account.

=============================================

TWO MAJOR POINTS:

(1) PP CLIENTS FODDER FOR THE LUCRATIVE BABY PARTS INDUSTRY......we need to determine what percentage of women given birth control who later came back for abortions. PP's game seems to be gulling sexually active women into thinking they're protected. The scheme to withhold examinations forces women back into their clinics for abortions....giving PP baby body parts to sell.

(2) GOVT FRAUD BY MAIL----PP using the US mails to pull off govt fraud needs to be reported.

Outrageous.....that Christian taxpayers in TX have been subsidizing the murder of babies with $3.4 million. That was certainly a well-kept secret and totally against the will of the majority of Texans, who resoundingly defeated “Abortion Barbie” Davis, the pro-abortion Democrat, running for Gov., in 2014.

What’s a liberal to do? Take that welfare money and go out to party, drink , or do drugs and end with nothing to live on the rest of the month? Or face up to a new reality that they have to budget their government aid or they have nothing to live on the rest of the month? They might have to even keep their legs shut so they don’t end up with a whole den of mouths to feed. Imagine that. Having to live responsibly. It’s probably a foreign concept to them.

“What’s a liberal to do? [sic] or they have nothing to live on the rest of the month?”

You can say that again!

Something like 70% of the population here is on food stamps and Section 8. There are some that work and try but many of them are really lazy.

My daughter aged 15 yesterday asked why do these countries keep asking for money to feed their kids when we have homeless veterans sleeping under bridges.

I told her that they keep having kids when they have no money, and she replied” well they should not have babies if they can’t afford to feed them”. Seems a 15 year old girl can figure it out, shame these adults who keep opening their legs cannot.

In a move that could affect thousands of low-income women . . .

More accurately: In a move that could save tens of thousands of unborn children, state health officials on Tuesday delivered a final legal notice to defund . . . Planned Parenthood

I worked next to the welfare office. Generation after generation after generation were on welfare. Very few ever tried to help themselves. The secretary finally got fed up with them and quit because they were getting more money doing nothing than she was working 40/hr. week. They’d come in whining they didn’t have milk for their children but laughed about partying the night before.

Then there was the program for students who could put their babies into government sponsored daycare. Free daycare, free diapers, free formula and meals, free toys, free everything. School let out for them at noon or 3:20 but they’d leave the kids there until 6 pm. They’d brag about this or that one night stand and hoped they’d be pg again soon. No slap up against the head for a reality check or budgeting class or life skills or anything. The more they popped out, the more free stuff they got.

Stop the money flow.

“Stop the money flow.”

Yes, and drugs and crime at the same time.

Put a reality squeeze on them as a self motivator.

Our country does not lack opportunity... It lacks motivation.

‘Our country does not lack opportunity... It lacks motivation.’

And for the last 8 years, the States have feared the jackboot on their necks, from the Federal Government. I think Obama sued Arizona early, to intimidated the other States from crossing his thugs. Arizona was only trying to enforce the Federal Laws on the books. But Federal Laws have been sidelined by Obama, in deference to his whims. I pray the States awaken and start making the Law ‘great again’.

Too damn bad. I live responsibly, every single day. I get up early, go to work, plan, save, and think about my future.

I don’t party excessively. I am SERIOUS about life, and always have been. I always see the wolf at the door, even at times when I’ve been swimming in prosperity.

Tired of people, especially women, who are seemingly not forced to live as I do. They live loosely and vicariously, on MY dime. Then they ask ME to pay to destroy the lives they have created through their activities. The horrible evil destruction of innocent human lives ...all at our expense. They choose to stay stupid and uneducated.

They are and have been given EVERYTHING that any of us have been given ...free public education, free assistance with everything ...they just squander it and continue to waste our precious resources in this country.

They can all die off, as far as I’m concerned. The strong will survive.
