Inauguration performances use to be an honor, a celebration of America’s unique electoral system. But the media has reduced this year’s to a B-list side gig that only desperate artists would dare to play at. When news broke that popular blind tenor Andrea Bocelli would be singing at Trump’s inauguration, people took to social media and started a push to punish him for showing any support for the President-elect. Now, one month before the event, Bocelli has decided the performance isn’t worth the backlash.
Twitter users adopted the #boycottbocelli hashtag to show their horror that a well-respected artist would dare agree to perform at the January inauguration. The social media fervor has now become so intense that Bocelli has backed out of the performance.

I find it a shame this person DID NOT stand up to this bullying!!! WE must start to STAND UP AGAINST THIS CRAP!!!!
I’m sure that there are quite a few people that would be honored to perform. The liberals can only boycott, bully, and push the weak. If a performer is too weak to stand in the face of the bullies, then he or she shouldn’t be there anyway.
My 15 year-old son points out, how do liberals carry out threats to kill people if they don’t believe in guns? Run people over? Throw rocks at them? What do they do?

I was thinking the same thing. He should bring in Christian voices and have them point out before they sing that (name of secular artist) was supposed to be performing in this spot, but God can even work with Godless Communists who forced the secular artist off the stage so this message from the Lord your God could be given instead.

These things should work both ways. I do not listen to Bocelli’s type music but certainly would not again if I did. I quit going to the movies years ago because of two faced hypocrite so called movie stars. Then I found out without make-up most of them were as ugly as homemade sin!
There are PLENTY of country western entertainers that would LOVE and be honored to do the inauguration they also pack heat and won’t be bullied!!!
Might as well do the gig anyway. He’s already been outed, so it isn’t like he won’t face future blacklisting regardless.
