Outgoing President Barack Obama won't be going anywhere, according to author and insider Ed Klein. In fact, Obama might have a trick up his sleeve to make life hard for Predident-Elect Donald Trump and that involves setting up a shadow government.

I agree. However I think it will be more like year or a year
and a half. There is one great thing the government
denizens in Washington hate: that is powerless former Congress
people, former government oficials and former presidents
hanging around DC and trying to make themselves relevant by shooting
their mouths off all the time.
Obama will be seen as foolish and juvenile.
Eventually the press will even be annoyed by his antics
and he'll suffer a worse fate than going to Hell -- he'll be ignored.
Sorry, we’ve had a shadow government for a long time. It includes families like the Clintons and Bushs aa well as many lessor known individuals.
Grab some popcorn, this “shadow government” will break into factions, an Obama faction, a Clinton faction, a Sanders faction, maybe some fourth one of really wingding lunatics, and these factions will be slinging mud at each other without restraint as they realize that they are figments of their own imaginations.
Pretty soon after inauguration, there will be Democrats in congress coming out to say that they want to work with the Republican majority, as they realize that siding with any part of this shadow government will doom their chances of re-election in 2018 (or whenever, if Senators).
This in-fighting will continue into their presidential primary season and Trump (or maybe Pence) will face a very disorganized and dysfunctional opponent in 2020. By that time you’ll need more popcorn.

Obama has NEVER been in a fight, he’s always had someone do his dirty work....If he tries to oppose Trump he will soon understand how powerless he really is.
If I am a serious Democrat, I wouldn’t like it. The Democrat ecosphere continues to be polluted by Clintons and Obamas whose aims do not completely correspond with what is best in a practical sense for the party. They are down to 18 governors, and their remaining Senators and Congressmen are increasingly from inner-urban areas that don’t lend themselves to national appeal. Obama is trying to position himself as a kingmaker for future nominees, and it may work only at the expense of the General Election. Look how many old, old faces are still hanging around. Nancy Pelosi is still waiting for her closeup.
The only effective way to chip away at Trump’s administration would be insider’s slipping secrets to the leftards. Trump needs to watch this carefully, and crush anyone who does this. A few examples need to be made early!!
