I think Free Republic is at its very best when there is an exciting “Live Thread” going on. No matter how idiotic or infuriating something might be on television (ex: election night, 2000 Florida recount, Cankles/Trump debates), these events are are actually fun and enjoyable with hilarious “play by play” Freeper expert commentary. :0)

You have been here less than a year.........I have been here since 1998......1997 actually, I’m not going anywhere.
OH, I thought Gunner was scarce due to being a NEVER TRUMPER I figured maybe he decided to stick his toe in the water with us for awhile!!! Glad to hear it his a blog he is working on!!! We miss him!!!
I plan to take a break from FR also. From tonight when I put the light off and go to sleep-— till first thing in the morning when I check in to see what the world is doing. Don’t need TV or any newspaper when I have FR. (Thank you JimRob!)
Trump's election is an opportunity to do great things. Things that will require a lot of work. Trump isn't going to solve all of our problems and that isn't what the presidency is supposed to be about anyway. To sit back and wait for someone else to fix things is the height of laziness and ignorance.
