On November 8, 2016, voters around the country to choose electors pledged to represent their party candidates in Electoral College voting. In the end, 306 electors were pledged to Donald Trump and 232 were pledged to Hillary Clinton. In the overall popular vote, which is not a factor in the Electoral College, Clinton led Trump by about 2.8 million votes.

It is the House of Representative who decide a hung election for the POTUS. The Senate has NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!
The only time the Senate is involved is when they count the electoral ballots after the election.

You are so right CRZ I was referring to the fact that already we’re seeing pushback from the Senate so there is evidence( specifically comments about not exactly going along with Trump’s tax rollback etc.) that they’re not just all going to jump on the Trump train and ride happily along. The same thing can happen if the vote goes to the House of Representatives. Can you really be sure that none of those Representatives will be bought off. The Democrats are never short of money, their’s or Soro’s. So far the electors have only been threatened with death. There are no reports of bribes. Indeed, that is the very stunt that forced the RNC to sign a consent order denying them the right to challenge election results in minority precincts or conduct any kind of campaign effort which might be construed as an attempt to limit the minority vote.
