Don't dare deport our kids! L.A. County to warn Trump (Trump: "Adios Amigos")
City news service- LA ^ | December 5, 2016 | Stephanie Michaud

Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis will seek the support... to protect county residents from changes in federal immigration policy in light of President-elect Trump’s illegal immigration statements.... " we are standing with them and that we will do what we can to provide security and safety.”...

“... people have been very disturbed, very distraught, in particular our most vulnerable, our children,” Solis said. “Our young children who are thinking, `Mom, are you going to get deported because you’re not here legally and I was born here? What’s going to happen to me? What’s going to happen to us?”‘

Solis will ask that county staffers analyze all services provided to immigrants and how changes in federal funding could impact those programs. She’d also like to consider a permanent Office of Immigrant Affairs and wants to explore the county’s authority to prevent federal immigration enforcement at courts, schools and hospitals.

“I would hate to see us claw back some of the reforms that we made with law enforcement as a result of getting rid of 287g (an agreement that had sheriff’s deputies enforcing immigration law) and also providing more of a buffer between ICE agents and their ability to come into our jails,”.[snip]

Under DACA, children brought to the US before age 16 can apply for work permits and live without the threat of deportation. The Center for American Progress estimated deporting DACA workers could create a $433.4 billion loss in national GDP over a decade.....

Obama took executive action to expand DACA for parents - the Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents. Those moves have been blocked by lawsuits that went as far as the U.S. Supreme Court, a 4-4 vote sent the matter back to the lower court. Trump has promised to terminate both programs.

This statement-"DACA worker will earn 434 billion over a decade is completely ridiculous."

LA is a major sanctuary city where 1 in 10 residents are illegal aliens. Of their 4.4 million immigrants, 1.1 million are illegal. A USC study claims that illegal immigrants contributed $57 billion of the region's GDP. But they fail to disclose the cost to the county, state or country to provide benefits. Nor do they state what percent of the $57 billion remains in the region, and how much is wired down to Mexico.

LA County supervisors are setting aside an initial $1 million to help cover expected legal services for their unauthorized immigrants …

That's less than a buck per head! ... Adios Amigos!

It could very well reduce GDP by $434 billion over a decade but increase it on a per capita basis.

Put another way if GDP over 10 years for 300 million Americans is $250 trillion and 20 million illegals create $434 billion in economic activity, it doesn't mean the $434 billion is much value add.

they fail to disclose the cost to the county, state or country

The cost is the loss of our country.

The dollars are irrelevant. We can print more.

Hilda Solis is NOT an American. Her nationality, her history, her loyalty is Mexican.

She has no right to make laws for us or occupy land controlled by the United States.

One thing that should be easy is to cut off all government assistance to illegals. So many are here for the welfare programs. They don’t deserve the welfare.

`Mom, are you going to get deported because you’re not here legally and I was born here?

Si. I mean, yes. I am going to be deported because I'm here illegally and you being born here has nothing to do with it.

What’s going to happen to me?

You are going with me, back to the dusty, windblown hellhole I crawled out of.

What’s going to happen to us?”

We're probably going to starve or die of leprosy or some other ancient disease our own people are too incompetent to treat. But we had a good run here in La Cuidad de los Gringos.

Parents here illegally with their anchor babies should not be split up, they should all return back to the parents’ country of origin... immediately. Any elected officials interfering with deportation of illegal invaders should similarly face criminal charges.

LA is a major sanctuary city. A USC study claims illegals contributed $57 billion to the region's GDP. MEMORY LANE--->MORTGAGE MELTDOWN--->TAXPAYERS GET SOCKED A 2009 Wall Street Journal investigative report WRT the subprime mortgage borrowing spree that wreaked havoc on the US economy revealed financial schemes by low-income housing groups, Hispanic lawmakers on Capitol Hill, including a congressional Hispanic housing initiative. Subprime mortgage lenders and brokers, colluded together in fraudulent schemes to increase homeownership among Latinos using falsified applications, and other tricks of the trade. (hat tip Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council)

The massive mortgage fraud ended in disaster for which no one has been held responsible. Taxpayers got saddled with billions of dollars in bailout bills.

These subprime activities were not simply the mortgage market at work. They were fueled by avarice, greed, stupidity--all enabled by Congressmen and other groups which leave a trail at the door of then-Cong Joe Baca (D-Cali).

Between 2000 and 2009, Hispanic populations increased; but Hispanic home ownership grew even faster, increasing by 47%, to 6.1 million from 4.1 million, according to the US Census Bureau. Over that same period, homeownership nationally grew by an enemic 8%. In 2005 alone, mortgages to Hispanics jumped by 29%; Latinos with multiple fraudulent identities in low-paying jobs obtained costly non-prime mortgages---soaring to a shocking 169%, (Research provided by Wall Street Journal)

The subprime mortgage bank fraud network was spearheaded by then-Cong Joe Baca (D-Calif 43rd), in his powerful position as chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. Baca's district ranks No.5 among all US Congressional districts in percentage of home loans tailored to sub-prime borrowers.

Baca used his the legislative power of his office and his leadership position in the Congressional Hispanic Caucus to calculatedly launch a housing initiative called "HOGAR"-- Spanish for home. conspiract and colluison the Congressuial Hispanic caucuss has been quiet about his role in financing, and, earmarking the blood-thirsty America-hating La Raza. race-based "La Raza" was given tax dollars and Congressionsl earmarks to finance its so-valled mortgage activities. La Raza's "strategic partnerships” with Wachovia and Bank of America forced the frgradayiio pg mortgage-application requirements and documentation standards.......whuch caused tac[aurts ro br siked w. billions bailputs and secimating the YS evinimy.\.

La Raza aided and abetted risky federal and private-home loans to latinos over the last decade. ontryide thanks to the lending industry’s version of “don’t ask, don’t tell.”

In addition to millions of federal tax dollars, La Raza also collected a $1 million Democratic earmark that funded “community-development” projects. Analysts report that much of it went to (cough) "mortgage counseling."

Solis was born in L.A., but thinks California is still in Mejico. She is a Stalinist, to be sure (Zero’s first Labor Secretary).

Solis is bad news----Labor Secy under Obama, she resigned under mysterious circumstances.

BACKSTORY when Obama was accused of cooking employment stats----Labor Secy Solis says "I am insulted that people would believe that BLS's books are cooked."

Does Obamaton Labor Secy Hilda Solis' actually think we believe anything that comes out of her tainted office? She has no regard for US law, and raises questions WRT whether she and her family are even here legally. Sap-happy vote-crazed Dems sucked-up to approve her to get latino votes. Read on.

EXCERPT Hilda Solis, Labor nominee, faces tax questions
February 06, 2009---Peter Nicholas and Dan Weikel, LATimes

A US Senate committee's vote on her confirmation is delayed after it learns Solis' husband had $6,400 in unresolved tax liens filed against his business.

WASHINGTON AND LOS ANGELES — US Rep. Hilda L. Solis, President Obama's choice for Labor secretary, faced new obstacles after lawmakers who were expected to vote on her confirmation Thursday abruptly canceled the hearing amid reports of back taxes owed by her husband.

Solis, a Democrat from El Monte, is at least the fourth Obama nominee whose confirmation has been complicated by tax troubles.

The Obama administration conceded it had not discovered on its own that California tax liens had been filed against Solis' husband, Sam H. Sayyad. The White House learned about the liens -- a matter of public record -- on Tuesday in the form of questions from USA Today, according to an administration aide. After the newspaper informed the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee of the tax liens, the panel called off the hearing so members could review the information. A new hearing was not immediately scheduled.

Public records show that since 1993, two state and 14 Los Angeles County tax liens totaling about $11,640 have been lodged against Sayyad and his business, Sam's Foreign and Domestic Auto Center.

The documents indicate that $6,468 in county liens remained unresolved until Wednesday, when Sayyad paid off the balance, according to the Los Angeles County treasurer and tax collector's office.

A tax lien is a legal claim filed by federal, state or local governments to collect unpaid taxes and fees from individuals and businesses. Anthony Yakimowich, chief deputy treasurer and tax collector for Los Angeles County, said Thursday that Sayyad "has paid everything he owes us."

Democrats in control of the labor committee said they are confident Solis will be confirmed."Congresswoman Solis will make an outstanding secretary of Labor and, while this issue has only recently come to the committee's attention, we are optimistic that the committee will be able to move forward with her nomination soon. We have asked the [Obama] administration to look into this and report back," said Anthony Coley, a spokesman for committee Chairman Ted Kennedy (D-Mass).

Solis' nomination had already faced snags. In her appearance before the Senate committee last month, she appeared evasive in certain answers, leaving some GOP members unimpressed.

Then Republican senators suggested that her ties to a tax-exempt group that promotes unionization might pose a conflict of interest. Solis has denied any conflict and says she is within her rights to serve as an unpaid board member and treasurer of the group, American Rights at Work.

SOlis' group is a strong proponent of the Employee Free Choice Act, a bill that would make it easier for workers to form bargaining units. As a congresswoman, Solis has been a co-sponsor of the bill.

At the White House, aides sought to draw a distinction between Solis and her husband. Briefing reporters on Thursday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that Solis is "not a partner in that business. So we're not going to penalize her for her husband's business mistakes. Obviously, her husband, I think, has and should pay any taxes that he owes."

The couple files a joint tax return, but Sayyad is the sole proprietor of his business, another White House aide said, and all tax communications about his business are sent to him at a separate address.

Sayyad paid off the debts this week to resolve questions, but he believes the liens were not accurately assessed, the aide said. He believes the liens were the result of late payment on county fees and assessments, and is planning an appeal, according to the aide.

Calls to Sayyad were unanswered. Solis' Congressional office has referred questions to the White House.

This is all so simple. Deport any illegal with a criminal record. Issue an executive order, you have six months to register your presence in the country as a foreign worker. No citizenship unless one enlists in the military. You came here illegally, you have no right to citizenship unless you leave, apply for re-entry the right way.

All those who register as foreign workers come out of the shadows, issued a tax # in order to pay taxes, mandated to get a drivers lic/Insurance like the rest of us. Place a 10% fee on $$$ wired back to Messy-co and divert this money into a border fence/wall.

Don't mess with the kiddos who are the considered the dreamers. They are American citizens as defined by the 14th amendment. I know, I know...I don't like it either, but it's just the way it is until we have the SCOTUS adjudicate on it or the legislatures change it and or a convention of the states deals with it.

After six months, you no register, you no stay. If caught, you face deportation. If deported and you come back, automatic prison time, graduated up depending on the amount of illegal re-entries.

Executive decree...we will enforce immigration laws that are on the books. Sanctuary cities are illegal and will be punished for not abiding by the laws. Those mayors/council members and or other state, county, municipal officers will jeopardize themselves with the penalty of jail time if they aid and abet criminal behavior by willfully/knowingly ignoring immigration laws.

Build the damn wall! Boom.

The only INCREASE in federal workers should be Administrative Law Judges and court clerks. There should be no such thing as a “backlog” in immigration courts. Have enough staff to push them through the required deportation hearings in DAYS not YEARS. No delays or continuances. Immigration law is very clear that it is up to them to PROVE they are here legally, not for the Feds to prove they are here illegally.

If we can’t get them out that quick, then we’ll need large federal prison camps where they can be kept at hard labor on chain gangs until they are deported — no releases on bail where they can disappear. I understand GITMO is underutilized these days. And that Sheriff Joe Arpaio has run very effective tent city jails and did not get re-elected so he may be available to run new ones for the Feds. Plenty of desert land owned by the Feds outside Las Vegas to set them up in.

President Trump doesn’t have to deport a single illegal alien. He doesn’t even have to build a physical wall (although I fervently hopes he does). All he has to do is enforce present immigration law and heavily fine employers.

They will self-deport. And the ones who don’t, no access to federal programs. That includes so-called “sanctuary cities”.

I hope you are right and that is what should happen to the illegal grass crawling invaders.

But, I will wait and see if the campaign promise will be kept. My feel now is Trump is backing away from it and the further he gets into it the further he will back away.

We will see violent criminals deported and they will be right back if the border is not first secured.

You know, cart before the horse.
