Here’s the difference, Greg. I merely say that I, Cashill, and numerous others think Stanley Dunham looks like Obama. I don’t ask you to agree. Yet I am considered mistaken if I don’t, for example, think Obama looks like Malcolm X.

If you’re suggesting I shouldn’t even mention my own impressions, isn’t that a little extreme? Otoh, if you see no similarity between Obama and Stanley Dunham, but you do see one between Obama and Malcolm X, I’m fine with that. Your impressions are your own/are what they are—as are mine.

And in context, Kiri Tith was talking about the girl he says he knew as Ann/Anne but he didn’t know she was married to the Kenyan and had a baby...

So I showed you a photo of a group that includes Kiri Tith and Ann/Anne and she isn’t Stanley Ann Dunham, she looks Japanese, and funnily enough, OHAMA is a Japanese name, but as there is no B in that language, it’s written as OBAMA.

There is a record of a professor OBAMA from the Waseda university visiting Seattle, some time in the 70’s, iirc.

So you might just be looking at Ann Obama, the student shown in the directory in Honolulu who was enrolled at the university for Fall 1960.
