Pelosi believes Electoral College is a deliberative body and not a representative body.

The electors do not meet as a combined body. Each state's electors meet in their own state. Pelosi can have all the deliberation she wants in the California Electoral college meeting, which will only be attended by her fellow California Democrats.

I'm sure, though, that her real wish is to have lots of media attend and put the "deliberations" on national TV.
