Electors Call for Intelligence Briefing on Russian Hacking Allegations

Ten members of the Electoral College have signed a letter urging the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to provide them with classified briefings on Russia’s hacking and cyber involvement in the U.S. elections.
Christine Pelosi, Democratic House Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter, who serves as an elector from California, spearheaded drafting the letter and referred to the request as a “day pass” so that electors could be fully read-in before they cast their votes next week.
Nine of the ten signatories come from states that Hillary Clinton won, though Pelosi said the news media should “stay tuned” for additional backers.
"We further emphasize Alexander Hamilton’s assertion in Federalist Paper #68 that a core purpose of the Electoral College was to prevent a 'desire in foreign powers to gain an improper ascendant in our councils.' The United States intelligence community has now concluded with 'high confidence' that a foreign power, namely Russia, acted covertly to interfere in the presidential campaign with the intent of promoting Donald Trump’s candidacy," the letter states.
"The Electors require to know from the intelligence community whether there are ongoing investigations into ties between Donald Trump, his campaign or associates, and Russian government interference in the election, the scope of those investigations, how far those investigations may have reached, and who was involved in those investigations," it reads.
Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta released a statement today saying that the letter "raises very grave issues" about the election.
Christine Pelosi told ABC News that the information would be helpful for members of Congress ahead of cabinet confirmation hearings.

Let NSA do the briefing. Or ODNI. Both have said there is no evidence Russia meddled in the election. Intel leads came from 4-6 various nations, which also means nothing since the intrusions were run through servers across the globe in order to obscure the origin.
Since none of the electors have a security clearance, then let’s just do an open briefing by ODNI/NSA for the entire American populace. Since they want a circus, include the former UK ambassador, whose information was 1st hand (and sounds suspiciously like Seth Rich was the leaker).
What hacks (pun intended) off the Clinton campaign is that the RNC wasn’t compromised and Assange said there was nothing found on Trump. He took on ride from FL to NYC on Epstein’s jet and threw him out of Mar-A-Lago for too many young *nieces*.
All the punters on their side know is Assange is a *criminal*, none of would click on any information obtained from *stolen* emails and no other allegations could ever be true of such fine folks (sic). Oh, and RUSSIA!!
Who, in the government, would a person trust to tell the truth for a briefing? It is stacked to the top with corruption. Trump is the only hope of cleaning out the trash and the trash is hell bent on destruction.
Do they know we are still out here and they are treating our vote as trash.... they are going to just stir up more anger if they try to disavow our votes. I don’t think they understand, it’s not just Trump... it’s all of us out here.... we won.. don’t fool around with that fact!
That is not the job of the electors. That is the job of the next congress.
