Family Guy is no stranger to bashing Christianity and Sunday nights Christmas episode, How the Griffin Stole Christmas, was no exception, featuring Jesus not only mocked, but KICKED at the nativity.
While the Griffin family longs to go sledding, Lois tells them to get ready so they can attend church. Peter rudely objects, proclaiming Jesus himself loved sledding, calling it his second passion obviously cheapening the Passion of Christ, the period of suffering Jesus underwent leading up to His death on the Cross for our sins.
Lois: All right. You guys ready for church? Peter: Church? What are you, an idiot? It's the first snow of the season. We're going sledding. Chris: Please, can we, Mom? Lois: Well, I mean, it's Sunday, and... Peter: Come on, Lois. After all, sledding was the second passion of the Christ. Jesus: Eat this, for this is my dust!
But it didnt stop there. Stewie crashes a corporate Christmas party, giving management some new ideas for firing employees. Consumed with guilt, he claims he ruined Christmas like the little drummer boy cueing a nativity seen that goes wild, ending with baby Jesus getting kicked over.
Stewie: Oh, God, I've ruined Christmas. Like the Little Drummer Boy when he got really into Neil Peart. (Drumming) Drummer Boy: Our finest gifts we bring Pa-rum-pum-pum-pum. Christmas is gonna be sick!
Truly disgusting, but certainly not surprising. Not really sure where the line is anymore when it comes to Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane. We can all agree at the very least he should get coal on Christmas for this disaster
Homosexuality is a mental disorder. Part of that disorder is attacking religion because most religions recognize that homosexuality is a defect and its practices sinful.
A "Nativity Seen?"
Really?
As He said they would.
This is nothing new or surprising.
This is exactly why I call myself Christian. That hacks like McFarland can do this, and there is absolutely nothing in my religion that demands I kill him for it.
I am actually supposed to forgive him and pray for him.
I am tired of evil being celebrated in American culture.
Sick and tired.
God said he would not be mocked. I think coal is the least of this guy’s worries.
“A “Nativity Seen?””
Back off, while the author may have misspelled “Scene” and the editor missed the misspelling of “Scene,” the headline writer nailed it.
Nah.
A screw up is a screw up.
MacFarlane had a fund raiser for Hillary at his home. Shows the class hillary runs with.
In real time.
“There is nothing new under the sun”....
until Christ returns again.
I’ve never watched it, and don’t intend to. What fine upstanding companies would sponsor an atrocity like that?
Family Guy: a fag show with a fag cast and only watched by a bunch of fag lovers. Typical immoral Fox crap.
Way to treat an immigrant.
“Todays Morning Joe devoted a segment to self-described liberal Nicholas Kristofs New York Times column, The Dangers of Echo Chambers on Campus. Key lines: We liberals . . . too often, we embrace diversity of all kinds except for ideological . . . We champion tolerance, except for conservatives and evangelical Christians. We want to be inclusive of people who dont look like us so long as they think like us.”
Harsh
meh. If I was 14 and looking to hit the lowest common denominator for humor, it would be funny. For adults, or at least people who have grown up? Not so much.
Seth McFarland is overrated. Tick tock, he's at about 12:30 of his 15 minutes.
While I am saddened by this, it doesn't surprise me.
truth
His 15 minutes were over LONG ago...
The ONLY reason he is still on TV is because he is willing to spout the liberal garbage viewpoint. Same with bill maher. Same with “the view”
None of these shows would still be on TV if they were not part of the establishment propaganda machine.
On September 11, 2001, Seth MacFarlane, fighting a hangover, missed boarding AA flight 11 from Boston. I guess that satan sometimes saves his own, at least temporally, if he has a need of their services later on.
